I'm 19 years old, just hit 150lbs and im about 5'10 1/2... i guess you could say i'm lanky a bit.

I always had trouble packing on muscle n weight, even though i had a pretty decent diet.. bout 120 grams of protein and ate VERY healthy...

I broke my leg 2 months ago, and the first 2 weeks i lost about 15 lbs and was down to about 135.. i looked liek shit.. i started eating whatever cause of the condition i was in, and i couldnt be bothered with picking and choosing foods... burgers, fried food, pizza.. just tried to get my strength and weight back...

Now, it seems that i eat burgers and some fatty foods i've been packing on weight and muscle.. not bad weight either, its showing in my chest, back and shoulders..

Does this seem odd to anyone that i'm eating poorer now( still alot of protein but more fat and carbs) and i'm looking better? Should I continue this for a bit until i reach desired, my metabolism is apparently nuts because before i couldnt gain an OUNCE.

when you are very underweight, and I would consider you @ 135 very underweight... it eoulf be much easier to gain weight and even healthy weight because your body is starving for it. It is the other side of the spectrum that is the hardest... that is when your body is fighting to keep muscle off because it is more than it naturally needs. keep training hard and eating big

would you say that eating a chicken sandwich from wendys is better than eating nothing?

You say you were eating healthy before, what was your diet? Macros and cals.

Sure you are going to gain weight eating shit, for the most part they are loaded with shit cals.

From these two statements I am going to assume when you were eating clean you were not eating enough cals.

120 grams of protein implies you don't eat very much at all, certainly not to put yourself in a situation of actually gaining mass.

120 grams of protien would be.. hmm, like, about enough to sustain a 120 lb school girl...

bigger workout, bigger diet, bigger body

and yes. at that point a chicken sandwhich from a fast food place would be better than nothing. but a grilled chicken sandwhich at home would be better
