Alright, this is what I'm picking and I"m sticking to it:

Day1-Chest/Shoulders/Tris
Day2-Legs
Day3-Off
Day4-Back/Bi
Day5-Off
Day6-start cycle again

How's that everyone?

That's like my routine, excepts I do
Day 1 Chest, shoulders, tris
Day 2 Back, Bi's and legs
Day 3 off
repeat either take day 4 off, or just start again on day 4

One last question, the split I just posted, thats not too much time off right? Or overtraining?

Oh and where could I squeeze in cardio, but still not have too many off days in between my lifting days???

You are making it to difficult on yourself. In order to make a successful program you have to first know what you want out of it. What are your goals: to be huge, general fitness etc. If you are worried about not having enough recovery days in between training sessions then do a Push/Legs/Pull type program or full body program 2-3x a week.

1. my goals are to get huge and shed the left over body fat on my body.

2. I"m not personally worried about rest, I just want to make sure I'm not lifting too much, to the point it makes me make no progress. I"m just looking for more experienced bodybuilders on here to give me their insight on splits.

3. And I am doing a push/pull/leg split. Thats what I chose, I just wanted the answer to those above questions I asked.

Sorry, I got confused, I should have read your thread from the beginning.

so where can I add my cardio in??? Without adding too many days off??

After you train
Day 1
Day 4
and Day 6
That way your rest days are truly rest days and leg day is probably your toughest day so don't do it on that day.

What do you do for cardio?

Nothing right now, but I"m trying to force myself to use the treadmill. I know if I use it, the fat will finally come off. I just can't get the motivation to do so, I love lifting, but I can't get my ass on that treadmill.

I guess I"ll just do cardio on my off days then, cause I do not want to lift weights then do cardio. I don't like that at all. 15-20 minutes of cardio on my off day, won't make that big of a difference.

That is what I do. Cardio on my off days.
If you don't like to run why not skip? Skipping rules. Just ask some of the mods on here -like Dale and Cow. The best thing about it is that it take no time at all to get your heartrate jumping. 10-15 minutes 3x a week will do wonders for your fat loss.

that's good but remember to train your traps and rear shoulders on day 4 to balance the volume ...... they are pull movements

Why wouldn't I do my rear deltoids on day 1 with the rest of my shoulders????

So doing cardio on my off days wouldn't be bad then? How much cardio would you guys recommend to burn a good amount of fat, but not burn my muscle I added as well????

because this will up the volume on the pushing day too much...also these muscles are already worked in pull movements with your back so why do them on the push day..... the main idea of doing a day for push movements and the other for pull movements is to balance your body ...so pushing ~ pulling.....

Ok, I get the idea.

But what about my cardio??? How much should I do? I"m trying to burn the rest of my bodyfat and add mass. And doing it on my off days, is ok?

it's good to do it on your off days.. not to interfere with your weight training , losing body fat is mostly a diet issue.......... post your diet in the diet forum and post your goals and stats......(age goals , weight , bf% ...etc)

Ok, I will post that in the diet section take a look.

Here is jay cutler's routine: He just answered my email back.

I do bis with chest
Tris with delts
Back
Legs.
2 on 1 off.

Throw that out the window. Just because he is big you ask him for advice?

No not just because he is big. He obviously knows what he is talking about, he is a freakin professional body builder. And a big ass one at that.

Drugs/Genetics- that is why he is big, not because he is a training genius.

One last question.

Where do I do my traps at??? Wtih my back day or with my shoulders day??

I would do them with back day, but either one works if you are purely talking upper traps here.

I do my traps with my back, but I've done them with shoulders too.

How much cardio on my off days would you guys recommend for me to do to get rid of body fat, but at the same time not lose my muscle????

I usually stick to 2-3 days a week max. Focus more on your diet.

Yeah, but for how long each session??? 20 minutes? 15 Minutes???

unmmmm.....how do u do traps? what's an isolation for traps?

shrugs?

I've started doing the Hise Shrugs that I saw someone doing on here not too long ago. Man, what a freakin pump I get from doing those. My traps are sore for about 2 days now.

Depends what kind of cardio you're doing. Sometimes I do aerobic sessions of solid state cardio which usually push about 30 minutes. When I do HIIT cardio or circuit training I will go for more like 20 minutes. Sprints usually last more like 10 minutes or a tad longer.
