I'm addicted to this cereal... anyone got any opinions about it... I eat like 3 bowls of it after my morning workout with non fat milk...

FYI

3g fat
(0 saturated)
300mg potassium
95mg sodium
36g carb
(8g dietary fiber, 3 soluble, 5 insoluble)
13g sugars
9g protein

I know it's not perfect...

I work out consistently about 10 hours a week, mix of cardio and weight training... is this a food i should eliminate from my diet?

For breakfast I eat 1/2-1 cup of oats, with a scoop of protein powder. Or a protein pancake-1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1 eggwhite, 1 scoop protein, blend, cook in a non-stick pan. 3 bowls of kashi?:hair: Wouldnt that be around 4 cups or so(dont know what a serving on the label is? 1/2 cup) Seens like a-lot. Oh ya and 13 grams of sugar could amount to a lot in 3 bowls, plus you milk sugars!! List the rest of your diet for others here to look at!

you're telling me what the little voice in my head has been telling me the last week... :(

I don't want to give up my sugary cereal!!!

hehe...

It starting out as one cup kashi(which is the serving size on the box) and one cup skim milk and a bannana... that was fine... then... I lost control!!! argh!!!

With food that I have little control over ie. chocolate and sweets :lick: I simply keep them out of the house to resist temptation! Its easiest that way..

All I have to say is that your breakfast is 24 grams of fiber in one sitting....damn.

I'd bet about tow hours after that meal you're spending some quality time venting your bowels.

yeah, buying 4 boxes at a time isn't exactly helping...

Have you tried Fiber one cereal? tastes great!

I usually don't buy cereal untill my big refeed, as 1 serving for me is usually the box.
