any of you guys have those kinds of people? they come in every day do the same workout decline bench, and arms thats it and never go to fail. today they were talking shit about working legs, saying thats highschool shit and all i could think when i heard that is "is that why they arent making any gains" and when one of them said how much their max was i just had to chuckle to myself when he said he maxes at 185 and talked like its a lot of weight. my wife (5'2 130lb lean, squats 225) turned to him and laughed and said friends dont let friends skip leg days and when he tried to talk back she just made fun of his chicken legs and turned away in embarrassment. to give you an idea he is about 6'3 230. when im in the weight room i dont talk shit to anyone like how they do. i love showing them up and once that happens they usually leave the weight room. ill prolly get negged for this but im not trying to sound arrogant myself, i dont think im a badass in my own mind by any means but i love proving and showing someone up especially when i dont have to try. so you know more about me im 5'9 200lbs (skinny fat) 8 weeks ago i could barley do 155 on bench and im now at 225 and on squat i was struggling with 255 and now im repping 315 so yes im still kind of a pussy but atleast im making and seeing gains where everyone else decides to settle and then complains about plateauing.
