I'm 38, 6'4" and 210lbs

I'm working with a trainer and doing a 3 x week split.

I'm eating 6 clean meals a day at about 3800 - 4000 cals. 2 to 3 meals are whey protein shakes

I'm taking 5mg creatine a day and a good multi.

I'm looking to gain mass.

Are there any supplements I should be taking along with what I'm already doing?

How long have you been at it...your split and diet that is?? Grams of protein you are consuming per day?? Need protein...1.5-2 grams per lb of body weight. So you should have around the 350 grams of protein a day. If you haven't been at it long, and your cals and diet is on as you say, it just takes time. It will happen if you are on point with these things, and the obvious, hard work.

I have only been at it 1 month. i have my 20 year high school reunion this summer so I'm trying to look good as fast as possible! :-)

yes, protein is at that level.

Nothing else to take - lift heavy, enjoy your gains!

If you'd like to post up what you're doing, we might be able to tell you if you've got a good trainer.

Have you gained weight yet?

I've gained 5 pounds and we have just moved from full body compound lifts to a push/pull superset style split. Yesterday was the first day of the new routine and this is what we did:

bench + upright rows
shoulder press + lat pull down
dumbbell pull over + pushups (hands close together)
then about 10 minutes of abs.

the sets were all about 4 and reps were 6. rested about a minute between the exercises with the "+" and 90 between sets.

Keep doing what you are you will continue to see results best of luck bro:thumb:

Watch it with the upright rows - lots of people get RC problems from those. You'll know - if they don't feel right, if your shoulders feel awkward, don't do 'em.

See if your trainer can teach you power cleans - those are amazing!
