Arwin didn't play such a big part in the books so I can easily miss scenes with her.

I hear the 30 mins it takes Frodo and Sam to climb the mountain is a good time for a potty break too???

I don't think so Butterfly, that's one of my favorite scenes! Don't miss that.

Arwen Rocks!!!

Me too, and Eowyn is also a princess and Aragorn could grow old with her.

I don't remember Galadriel being almost wicked in the book??? Did I just miss it???

Eowyn rocks!!! what an amazing chin she has

I didn't really get Eowyn. I still think Arwen is awesome! :)

gotta agree Rock, the best parts to go the the bathroom is the previews or the credits. Thats about it.

Well, and I like the previews! :)

saddly I missed them and was forced to sit front row center. Everything was huge!!

Ohhh, I hate the front row! I'm very specific about sitting in the Theater!:)

Yup, my spine is jelly after sitting for three hours in a slumped position.

I would rather have pee'd my pants than missed part of that movie.........was crying my eyes out at the end of it:bawling:

Dude I have balled at everyone of those damn movies. Those lines that they have Samwise say just tear up the heart.

I really don't get Liv Tyler esp her face. yeah pretty..but not as hot as Eowyn. :nope:

Yeah, I cried at different parts during each of the movies.

I was really crying when Frodo was in the bed at the end of the movie after the ring had been destroyed and the members of the fellowship were coming in the room to greet him. I really lost it when he looked up and saw sam in the doorway......that shit was so happy I couldn't handle it.....lol

Lol yeah, I getya man. When they split Mary and Pip up, that was mine downfall.

tit got my ass up at 10 to see it on opening day. Awesome movie, although I've never read the books, but tit has.

IF you HAVE to take a pee break, then it's best to do it while frodo and sam are marching to the mountain. But I'm biased because I watched that stupid 70's cartoon based on Return of the King before I had seen the movie. The cartoon was TOTAL CRAP and depressed me when I saw corresponding scenes in the movie. Ironically they had some very similar features, although probably just because they're based on the same book. But the actors were nearly identicle to their animated counterparts... weird

I definately cried during parts of the movie!

Hey P-funk. Next time you want to see it, put in a catheter. Better than peeing yourself! :)

It was kind of funny to listen to the audience during parts of the movie. I saw it opening night in a packed theater. During certain parts, half the audeince was sniffling. I leaned to my wife and told her to listen to them. :D :D No doubt there are some tear jerking scenes.

I'm just glad I'm not the only male that got a little emotional over the movie. The people I work at laughed at me :)

I saw it for the third time tonight, went with some friends, we were bored. Im an emotional guy, actually probaly over emotional, but I still have yet to get close to shed a tear ever during these movies

I don't think it was actually that the parts were all that heart wrenching, but when I was growing up the Hobbit was my favorite book so that shit got really presonal. I was actually a little depressed when the ring was destroyed cause it kind of closed off a part of childhood.

Yeah, I was a fan of the books before I even saw the movies. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when the movie came out because I didn't think it would do the book justice, but they did an amazing job.

And yes, I even cried when I was reading the books.

When I was small The hobbit was great but I just wasn't up to speed to read the LOTR's so the movies were like a new world opened up to me. I had no idea until I saw the first movie how much dark they are than the Hobbit.

I remember going to see the first one cause I was bored. Since then I'm hooked!

That part where Aragon tells the hobbits that they bow for no one, then they all bowed to them:bawling: :bawling:

haha.. its impossible to kill a tolkien thread. You came close tho by spurring an inclination to ... god forbid, read his works. Sounds like a fun book to read tho and will give it a chance someday, thanks for the tip!

But the silverscreen, aye, tugged at the ole heartstrings. I'm glad that they left in the last 20 minutes to close things up even tho some perceived it as melodramatic dribble.. it really wasn't just for the fans of the book, but for showing the depth of the characters once again and bring the epic to a very graceful close.

I can't wait to get the extended edition of RotK!!!
