Ok, I'm 6'1" 227 lbs. at least 35 pounds of my weight is fat.
I want to drop weight to around 190-200 and be ripped when I get there.
Problem is I'm finding out losing fat and gaining muscle t the same time may not be possible... at least that's what I was told.
So, I need to know... is weight training a waist of time until I drop the fat ?
My main concern is that I have read that the first 6 months of weight training is when you gain the most muscle. I don't want to waist that window of opportunity by having a calorie deficit during that time trying to lose the fat.
What should I do ?
