I usually go to the gym 4 times a week, one hour each time.
Sunday: chest/triceps
Monday: back/biceps
Tuesday: chest/triceps
Wednesday: back/biceps.

However sometimes happens that I miss one of the trainings. Is it ok to do double training the next day?
For example, if I miss the Tuesday training, then on Wednesday I would do: back/biceps/chest/triceps for 2 hours.

if u missed a day why not just start over, if u miss tuesday, then wednesday do chest and triceps, kinda switch your routine, do monday chest and tri's, tuesday back and bi's, wednesday chest and tri's, thursday back and bi's. plus the extra rest will not be badd

missing days is not a good idea for reasons like this, it happened to me over xmas and this week i finally caught back up, but probably overtrained like a pro darts player running a marathon doing it

i usually try to just add in a extra day the next week, e.g. if i only do 3 days of a 4 day split next week i will do five days, but its hard, but its even worse if you don't do that workout at all, a bad habit of mine is missing a legs or cardio workout and then just thinking oh well, shit happens! and not doing them until the next week

if you must put one workout into two, go low volume so it don't take so long, you should be alright with this

peace

If you miss a day, it'll probably help you more than anything if you're doing too much work in the gym. I missed yesterday because I played 2 hours of football, both ways. I didn't suffer from not lifting.

I agree with Young D...in that if you feel like you have to combine 2 workouts into 1, then go with lower volume for each workout....squueze it all into 1 hour or a touch more. I wouldn't try to workout 2 hours. Won't be beneficial or productive i would think.

If I miss a workout, I just move on....missing one w/o doesnt mean sh*t..
