It does not matter that you do or do not eat meat every day. What is important is that you are getting enough quality (to me that means low fat and easy to digest) protien. I saw a video interview with Bill Pearl and he stated he had been an ovo-lacto vegan for over 40 years. He consumed lots of dairy products and something like a gallon of milk a day.Does it matter if I don't eat meat everyday?
Like alot of days I just do eggs, cc, whey/casien powders, milk, and tuna fish. A few days a week I have chicken maybe 2-3.
I guess I just need to get into a good routine of making 12 chicken breasts for a hour or two on the foreman every sunday night if i like it or not.
I almost never make chicken or anything like that. Generally I have almost no time during the week to cook. And during the weekend I'm just too dang tired from school and work to even care lolI get by with cottage cheese and eggs.
I tried making a whole bunch of chicken and just freezing it, but I eat them plain so they taste like shit after about a week of eating them.
Am i missing something here?? It only takes me around 7 mins to cook a chicken breast on the frypan using 1/2 teaspoon of canola or evo oil.
I could not stomach a breast that had been sitting in the fridge more than 1 day.
Are you guys really that time poor?
Uhhh Ya! Try working 50 hours a week, running a business, training people, raising a family, spending time with a spouse and still finding time to train 5 X week... Yep, im officialy time poor!
I cook on Sundays too...10 chix tatas and 5 steaks on the BBQ (and I live in cold ass Canada), pounds of shrimp in the wok. I steam veggies, prep a ridiculous amount of rice, and diced fruit store everything into single servings and freeze. Thaw stuff daily and eat.
Add to that canned tuna, cottage, whey etc... I do eat meat every single day of my life!![]()
What's a "Chix Tata"? That doesn't sound Canadian? LOL
No, normally they say 'Le Boobies Du Poullete EH?'![]()

Sunday is my only off day...So I guess I'll suck it up and spend a few hours in the kitchen with the foreman grill. I guess it will be worth it to have 7 days alot easier.
But my main issue was can I still grow without eating meat everyday? ;-)
Using mostly eggs, cc, milk, whey/casien, and tuna![]()
Wouldn't the best approach be to employ all the sources?
I've gotten out of the milk and egg routine. I'm missing those.

Every day? I have meat with nearly every meal...... at least 5 servings per day
I never fry anything. I microwave my fresh eggs, microwave frozen skinless chicken breasts, and eat albacore white tuna from an easy to open envelope.
My veggies are raw, spinach, brocolli, asparagus, fruit, nuts, then I eat rice cakes w/almond butter, and in the morning I microwave my whole grain Scottish oatmeal. Anyone else doing this; yes it sounds very bland, but I've learned to enjoy it without cooking and I save time.
