my legs day..

Good exercise selection but my legs always responded best to hitting them twice weekly. That's a lot of work in one session. Consider splitting that workload into two days? If not, looks good.

I agree.I recently started hitting my legs twice a week and they have responded very well

I do, but it is quite odd. More like lever-squat machine. I cant do squats with full range of motion on these. I cant even reach parallel. So i consider it useless...

Sissy squats are extremely uncomfortable for me and i dont think they are good mass builder, are they?
Def incorporate some squats in there .

I've googled. As I expected, i'm not impressed.

I know you were impressed but just don't want to say it. So, that ok.

I realize the article I wrote used some big words. Let me know if you need me to explaain what they mean.

I'll let you know if I need some worthless equipment. :thumb:

I know you don't make enough to affod the good stuff. It ok.

Why I choose to write my posts in a structured form

I'm clearly better than everyone else, and need to differentiate myself. I also hope the structure will lead people to mistakenly take my statements as facts instead of opinions.

Why I like to defer to others

Simple, I lack my own experience. Also I hope that by claiming that someone like "Dr. Tom McLaughlin" believes this, then people will simple accept my statement as fact and ignore their own experiences.

Why I choose the internet as my medium

I first tried acting like a pompous ass at home, but my boyfriend became extremly angry and the cops were called. :bawling:

OP...You might try DB bulgarian split squats. I love them as a change of pace or shocker, but if you don't have access to a leg press or hack squat, they are a great quad movement.

Now back to annoying catfight.

Leg Extensions

Drop the leg extension. If if for the most part a worthless exercise.

Shear Force

Also, the leg extension places a lot of shear force on the knees. In plain English, that means leg extension beat the crap out you knees.

PushandPull

As he stated, perform you SLDL after your squats. You want to perform compound movement first in a program.

Kenny Croxdale

Leg extensions are good for warm ups especially if you do heavy squats. I do two sets before starting my leg workout and i find my workout to be significantly better when i start with leg extensions.

My Leg Routine, is this to much to little?

Squats - 3 Sets
Leg Press - 3 Sets
Hack Squat - 3 Sets
Leg Ext - 3 Sets
Standing Calf Raises - 3 Sets
Leg Curls - 3 Sets
Seated Calf Raises. - 3 Sets

Hold up, wait one mother fuckin minute.

If leg extensions are so useless, I challenge you notbigs to find me one IFBB pro who doesn't utilize them. Find me one competitor and I will concede the debate.

I find it to be a beautiful exercise. It can be used for pre-exhaust, or as a finishing quad movement.

The pros use it because leg extensions are the only way to keep the quads loaded fully when they are almost fully contracted (i.e. when the leg is nearly straight). Those last few degrees of movement in a leg extension _really_ hit the rectus femoris, that center muscle in the quads separating the vastus lateralis and vastus medialis. Squats will build the two vastus, but leave the rectus femoris lagging. If you watch how the pros do leg extensions, you'll see they lean really far back, and only do half the rep from 45 degrees to straight-legged, with a hard squeeze and hold while the leg is straight.

If you're a competitor and you want that big bulge in the center of your thigh, leg extensions are a must.

No you are wrong lol.....he clearly stated that per his doctors bible....they are "USELESS!" No go re-read his posts and inscribe only his info into your workout journal lol!

I like both quad extension and hamstring standing curls. I find they work great as a pre exhaustion moves or finishers.

Wanna torch the Hams? Leave your panties and dr's bibles at home and try these
