My new rountine in the gym

So footballs almost here, and im contemplating joining, and i also play soccer so for soccer i decided to lose some weight. I only have an hour to work out during the school day, usually before 12 PM. This is what i do, for instance todya was shoulder.

Shoulder
4X Military press
2X front raises
4x standing military press
3X side raises

Cardio for about 20 minutes.


I do this style of working out about three to two times a week, every other day i do a normal split like tomorrow would be Tricep/Chest. I've already had my normal splits critiqued just wondering if this is ok as well.
 
nothing like 8 sets of millitary preses! that will do wonders for you on the football field.
 
Thats what i was wondering, i feel as of late ive been overworking certain muscles, but i dont know what is the fine line of a good workout and overworking a muscle.

BTW Im considering playing football, never said i was. I work out for myself to get myself in shape.

either way, no matter what you are working out for, you need to have a better/more balanced routine.

you may want to check out the stickies and try to put something together and have us help you clean it up.

that's it spend some time reading the stickies on the main forum page by cowpimp and pfunk and gopro, it'll help u alot......also read the stickies in the diet forum to make ur self a good diet then after that post ur final plan and ppl will help u :rolleyes:
