im gonna get on this diet and i need some suggestions/help and need to know if this is a good diet:

Breakfast - A bowl of oatmeal, prolly McCann's steel cut oatmeal
Snack like 3 hrs later - Protein Bar (either Trioplex or Pure Omega 3 Protein Bar) while in school
Lunch - Need help filling this slot out
Snack again 3 hrs later - Protein Bar Trioplex or Pure Omega 3
Dinner - Either chicken breast or steak and salad
atleast 2 hrs b4 sleep - Protein Shake (either PurePro or Prolab Pure Whey)

Of course thru out the day im drinking like 5-6 liters of water. I need to know if this diet will help me increase my lbm w/o increasing my bf %, any suggestions or comments is greatly appreciated

I see mostly protein bars and shakes. Where are the fruits and vegetables? (Okay there is some salad at dinner)

Add protein (eg: some eggs/whites) and healthy fats (PB, fish oils etc). Some fruit would also be good.

Hmmm.... Could you make your own bars?

Lunch - Need help filling this slot out
Take a tupperware container with some sweet potato, tuna and 2 cups of vegetables in it. Add 0.5-1 tbs of olive oil to it.

Snack again 3 hrs later - Protein Bar Trioplex or Pure Omega 3
Drop the bar. Have real food here.
eg: an apple, some chicken, some vegetables, some PB.

Dinner - Either chicken breast or steak and salad
This is fine. You could add some healthy fats here too. (fish oils)

atleast 2 hrs b4 sleep - Protein Shake (either PurePro or Prolab Pure Whey)
Drop the shake - or at least make it a casein based protein... Some real food (eg: protein + fibre + fats) would be better. So something like some berries + cottage cheese + PB would be good.

ps: PB = peanut butter

Instead of tuna, can i eat a PB&J Sandwhich on all wheat bread?

that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but a PB&J sandwich would have relatively little protein in it. plus jelly is all sugar. you'd be better off taking emma's advice on this one. tuna, sweet potato, veggies and olive oil combines for a truly complete meal nutritionally.

Ummm... and how are they the least bit similar??

tuna = lean protein
PB & J on bread = sugar + fat on refined carb!

Why can't you do tuna?

You could substitute a chicken breast if you wanted... but lean protein = good for you. ;)
