Most of the summer I've been painting houses, which worked great for my training. I just lifting in the evening, and did a decent job of keeping with a solid diet. Well that job is over...
I got a temp job at the local Pepsi warehouse. the hours are 3- whenever we're done, sometimes as late as 2am. I never lifting anything really heavy, but I am constantly lifting 20-30 lbs... like we're talking literally hundreds of times. It's really tiring me out. A lot of arm work. I can feel it more than anything around my elbows....
I dont know if it's actually my joint or what.
As you can imagine working these crazy hours is killing my "diet". I've been going to bed right when i get home, and waking up at 12. if i'm going to lift, i have to squeeze it in then, along with some good. Then i get my dinner break at 7.
So not only am i running short on time, I'm using my upper body constantly...
The way I see it, i dont know how I'm going to make any gains during this period. Am I right in assuming that? How can I minimize the risk I am running of overtraining? Should I just stop lifting all together? afterall, this job is only lasting another week or two? I can lift on the weekends I guess. Any input would be appreciated
