Silkworms have very old missile technology with a moderate capability at best...not too mention they are poorly tested. Its not proven missile (Most Chinese missiles aren't).

Israels public domain ability has had the capability to neutralize a C201 since the 80s. Silkworms are subsonic and primarily designed for anti surface warfare (ASuW) and not AAW (anti air warfare).

The Shahab 3 is a MRBM, but the tech stems from the North Koreans...who have repeatedly failed missile tests year in and year out. That doesn't mean it should be dismissed as junk by any means, but there are Russian missiles Iran is trying to acquire right now, that are MUCH more capable and extensively tested.

Israel and the KSA has publicly lobbied Russia not to proceed...the deal is still up the air though. KSA has stated it would procure defense articles from Russia as incentive (probably upwards of 4-5B$). Israel has not publicly announced its incentive. Iran threatening legal action is the deal is rescinded.
