Over your Studies... Are Roids REALLY that bad for?

Just thought i would bring up a discussion... Be honest! Lets talk about the health risks of using roids and ways to avoid them... And are they Really that bad for you? I just have this wierd feeling im going to have heart trouble when i get older... And wanted to get yall's opinion on it.
 
Cholesterol is not going to be your friend if your levels are out of whack, if you are overweight + using gear you are pushing your luck IMO. This is going to be blood pressure problems x2 as well.

Those are questions you are going to have to answer yourself and weigh the potential risk...and be willing to take the potential blame. Rather than asking someone that has only been taking them for probably 5 years or so, look for the people that took them for years and have since stopped. The years afterwards will be the tell all.
 
wish i knew some older juicers...
 
Im sayin.. theres so many studies that say there are going to kill you and so many studies that say there is nothing wrong unless your using like 3-4Gram of test a week... Was just wondering everyone's opinion on that... I meen i have Read enough to think they are not that bad for you as long as your not year rounding...
 
A couple weeks ago I watched Pumping Iron the (the anniversary DVD edition) It has a special feature where it shows the lifestyles of people like Arnold, Frank, Mike (today) they're all still living healthy lifestyles and appear to be in good health......u should go get it.

theres two older looking juicers at my gym... they seem to be fine.

Honestly tho the media blows the use of steroids waaaaaaay outta proportion. Some studies say this, others say that. Not to mention people are so uneducated about them: Someone asked me if i enjoyed getting high off my steroids and how long it was gonna be before i was out on the streets looking for used needles.

Who says that seriously

I know they cant be GOOD for you. But i dont think theyre horrible for you if used within moderation.

At least you will leave a good looking corpse. The reality is I thought about the risks before I started and I think you did to so don't start going all mushey on yourself now that your 230 and can bench 415 ok. Besides guys that big look funny dressed in pink (RAOTFLMFAO)
 
Well maybe not a healthy dose but i know that im swelling up... You should actually start feeling your self grow... EAT EAT EAT... i would really like to see you get where you want to go ST. I have many Smaller friends and i see how disappointed they are in thereselves when they go to the gym... Not saying that you are.. but i would like to see you meet your goals. Keep us posted...

It depends on how much you use, for how long, if you cycle off, etc. and of course overall health, etc.

so many variables...

bottomline is if used moderately, not the way current pro bb's use them, and intelligently, they are generally safe. but there is always going to be an inherent risk when using a drug, any drug.

Yeh im not really Too worried about it... just afriad one day im gonna go crazy with the shit and start using 4 grams a week... Do yall think this is overdoing it.... 1gram of Test prop a week with 1 gram of EQ ??? that will prolly be my next cycle... I never really noticed anything off of the EQ at 600mg's a week.
 
Because you did not seem so worried about it when you giving out advice. Don't sweat the small stuff. I hope to weigh 230 by next year. Your the Man ( Just a Guy ) ok Mudge is the Man but your ok 2:D

I honestly think...now that I thought about it, that the biggest health risk comes to to the people who were too small and weak (ie not enough training) to take gear) .....I know 3 people in my gym like this ....2 are complete jerkoffs and one is a good fella, just uninformed....either way these people when they started were just in the gym for 6 months, weighed 150 or less, and decided to take gear

One got pretty big, but stopped juiceing because he had heart problems(maby because of gear, maby not)....It couldnt have helped his circ system to go from 150 to mid 200's in such a short time though...

The good fella who Im friends with now has severe joint problems after haveing none when he started 3 years ago...gear builds muscle and degrades connective tissue...

the last one completely stopped lifting and shriveld back to his scrawny weight after 2 years or so because of an injury...again connective tissue degradeing was probably a factor...

So honestly as these 3 guys as an example...if you havent conditioned your body to lift big before gear, your joints will go faster....If your not big enough to use gear, your heart will go faster...

No but really its 142/98 And im at the end of my 16 weeks cycle... i cant decide if thats good or bad.. considering im still juicin(only got 6 days left)

Really power rabbit? my resting heart rate is always around 80 when i juice and 50-60 when im not... Am i not Big enough to use gear? LoL i hope so.. i think gear speeds up your heart anyway... well too some it does.
 
Whats the highest anyone's BP has been on cycle????

im not saying you will get no sides...but say you sttaed at 140...then balooned up to your 230...think of what your bp would be then...
 
so what do yall think about the BP? is that high enough to be worried?

I can't tell if you are agreeing with me or patronizing me?! :confused: I absolutely agree you should trust yourself and your research and not what people tell you. thats correct. Its foolish, especially in BB to go off of what another person tells you alone, take it for what its worth and keep reading!

during my cycle, I was warming up on the treadmill with some ephedrine in me, no more than usual, and I read my heart rate, and keep in mind this was before I started to really do anything exercise related that day, and my heart rate was at a wopping 190! I was pretty worried since my heart was betaing out of my chest. The weird thing was it was only that day and it was never that high again?!
