my right pec is uneven compared to my left one my right one is much smaller what excersices can i do to even it out 1 handed db' presses??? any other suggestions would be helpful thanks

I have heard that to help this you can do more dumbell presses with the smaller peck/arm.

BUT...Don't try to use a heavier weight on that arm. Use equal weight with both arms, just more reps on the smaller one

And remeber too that we are human and flawed and you must accept some unevenness.

Hope this helps. =)

When I started lifting I had the same problem, except that it was my entire left arm. I could see a little bit of definition in the right arm, but none in the left. I didn't do anything special to cure it; I just kept lifting equally with both hands and now my arms are symmetrical and have a lot more definition. In the beginning, I was limited to how much weight I could lift because my left arm was weaker than my right, but once it got stronger I never have problems with one arm going up faster than the other.

Smaller in what dimension? Depth?

I'm asking you, is it actual mass or top to bottom which would be genetics.

Personally, i wouldn't do uni-latral movements, for stability/injury issues.

Just do dumbell oriented movements and see if that sorts it out. You may have a predominantly stronger side (which is natural since everyone tends to have a dominating side of their brain).

Stick at the lifting, be sure to "feel" the target muscle being worked and not just lifting the weight. In time you get the focus between mind and muscle and you'll be able to manage barbell movements and such without any associated "dominant" side.

Or you may be mistaking bodyfat distribution which you may hold strangely, a bit like myself (i'm leaner on my right side than left). This may give the appearance of a large pec, if you aren't totally clear how to distinguish between what is "fat" and what is muscle/water (not insulting your intelligence here).
