F#+?&$%"}#E!!!:finger: :finger:

Lmao........peanut butter for the slooooow ones. ;)

Try cottage cheese on a baked potato instead of butter or sour cream. Bet you'll like it!

I've even put it in oatmeal before...it was good.

I may have to try the baked potato thing...if I can ever get over my fear of potatoes (bad carb, bad carb). :(

I can`t even remember weather or not I answered your question, but everyone is on the ball with the older eggs, though the older they get, the more that will crack open while being boiled.

I used to own a coffee shop where we boild about 300 every morning.....YUK...Can`t stand the site of em now.

ive done all of the above and my family members think im sick.rodney frickin dangerfield....hey let me tell ya, no respect, ya know what i'm saying....no respect.. :moon:

Miss D...don't get over your fear of potatoes! They are yummy, but they are evil!

Cottage mixed w/ fruit yogurt or strawberry jam is good...not that I would know cause all that has sugar and sugar is evil

w8, if I listened to you I would never eat anything but eggs and chicken. :( But on the other hand, if I listened to you I would probably have a much better bod. :) Just you wait until I finish BFL, then I'm going to ask you for training advice in addition to diet advice. Consider yourself warned.

Are you always so strict on sugar? I know you are pre-comp right now. Cottage cheese is not evil. It's got calcium and protien. Right? Right???

First off Me and cottage cheese are a no go!!! So don't even try to put us together Kuso!!!!

and damn you Miss LeDix!!!! I have not had any peeling egg problems in years until I read this thread. I've wasted over a dozen eggs already!!!!!!! ;)

Pitboss, what's up with the sarcasm? I have *literally* wanted to throw eggs away due the peeling issues. Don't give me a hard time. Oh wait, did I just type that?

LOL...I was actually talking about the jam and yogurt :D

I normally eat cottage cheese, I love it...though it does have lactose...it's fine for the average person not competing!

Miss LeDix, did you use my instructions yet? If so, how did your eggs come out?

Prince, I have not used your instructions yet. I probably will this weekend. And I will for sure let you know how it goes.

Thanks sir, I mean ma'am, or what are you again? :)

Hard Boiled Egg instructions:

1.) After you buy eggs let them sit in fridge for a few days.
2.) Put eggs in cold water, put on burner, turn heat to high.
3.) As soon as water reaches boiling point, turn down heat so they are at a "calm boil" (just little bubbles).
4.) Set timer for 12 minutes right when water reaches the boiling point.
5.) When timer goes off, immediately run cold water in pan, dump out and repeat until water is cool.
6.) Let them sit for around 20 minutes, then put them in the fridge.

I am making eggs right now following the above directions. I have just set the timer for 12 minutes...I'll let you know how it goes! :D

I do it similarly. Execpt when the water reaches a boil, I kill the heat and put a lid on the pan. Set a timer for 11 minutes, then dump the water and do the whole cold water bit. Yadda, yadda.

I did the whole cold egg thing...I have to say it was easier getting it out of the shell..

So....how did it go?

I find if you lay the egg on a surface, place your hand on top of it and roll it back and forth 5/6 times the shell will just fall off, dont be scared to press down a bit too :)

A good karate chop doesn't hurt either, a light one of course, but still, it works for me..
