Does any one here do personal training? I am in the process of signing up with ACE to become a certified trainer. I was just wondering if any one else has taken this certification or if there was a better certification to get.

I am a trainer. I have an NASM cert. NASM is good. ACE is good also and both a really recognized. The best you can get IMO and the opinion of many is NSCA CSCS. NSCA CPT is great too.

Thanks for the information P-funk. There is only like two personal trainers in my town and i figured instead of having people ask me what to do everyday, I could charge them and make a few extra bucks. How difficult are the test I am currently getting my MBA in business so i figure it will not be harder than that but i was just carious.

the tests aren't hard at all. just study for them and you will be fine.

P-funk thanks for all the info. ACE has a testing center about three hours from my house in LA so i am going to go ahead and sign up with them. Thanks for the help and I am sure i will be asking plenty of questions.

NASM head quarters is right there in Sana Monica. I would rather go there and get a certification than ACE.

Well i am going to defiantly look into that one now. Glad i stopped in to get some good info.

MBA = Master of Business Administration

The only way to get an MBA is in business ;)

True, but during your MBA you choose your subjects from a select pool of them so you can graduate with an MBA more specific for your field of current work, similar to a graduate diploma but with the business focus of the MBA - or you can just do a generic MBA before you even get a job which is next to useless for anything other than networking with all your other MBA pals :)

ACE OR nasm ARE THE BEST ONES JUST DONT DO THE MISTAKE OON TAKIN IFPA CERTIFICATIONS THEY ARE REALLY EASY AND U WONT ANYWERE WITH THEM

Well hopefully they got one or the other 2 years ago......;)

I have about 10 different certifications (some basic, some more specialized), and my favorite one was with the ISSA.

Believe it or not I am going to get a damned bosu cert. Right now I have the NASM, ACE, Bigger Faster Stronger, and now I got to get a BOSU one. The last 2 count as a secondary cert where I work.

hahhhhhhahaa thxs that is more enough no body knows it and i went to the NOCA SITE AND THEY ARE NOT RECOGNIZED!!

TAHNK YOUUU EVERY ONE GOOD VALUABLE HELP
