This is what I been using, but I just ordered 23g 1.5"

I have 22ga, 1.5" for glutes and 23ga, 1" for delts. No issues, ever.
I have even used only 1" for glutes and got deep enough into the muscle. Prefer to draw with 22ga and pin with either 22 or 23 depending on my flavor of the day.
Not gonna switch to a 25 ga b/c I see no reason to. To each his own.

Does everybody switch needles after drawing to pin with a new needle? Does anybody just use the same needle to draw and then pin without switching?

I don't switch. I've never felt like I've needed to. My needles don't get dull enough for me to feel like I need to.
The only thing I worry about is having rubber get in the needle. I would assume that if any rubber got into the needle, it would come out when I push air into the vial.

i can see tht happen id say it would come out tho if there was any rubber but idk
you never switch ? after u withdraw from the vial? i dont think u need to switch unless u hit the glass

I have used the same pin for both drawing and pinning in the past but due to the facts that 1) a new pin usually feels a little better/fresher along with 2) I have a zillion pins in stock, it just makes sense to me. But I don't aspirate. Everyone has his/her particular procedure and it's not an issue of right or wrong just personal preference, etc. Sanitary procedures are at the top of the importance pyramid obviously, no matter what we're doing.

I gotta agree here. I have used insulin needles before without issue. It takes a good amount of time to draw and a good amount of time to inject but it works. I liked using a space heater to warm up the solution before injecting. I would rotate the pin around the heater so it obviously didn't melt or cook, but enough to get it to flow better. Had some QV Deca that hurt like hell from the BA, the heat took the pain away.
If you have vials I can see not switching pins. But if you have amps, switching pins is required.
With that said, I always switch pins. What's 10cents to make sure you're sterile and safe?

I order the syringes with 20g, 1" so I can draw easily and quickly. Then I switch to either a 25g 1" (delts) or 1-1/2" (thighs or glutes)

I like to use 25G with oils. I usually heat my gear up with a heat pack or under hot water to make it go through the needle with less force.

Just got my first close-up look at 23G,
oh, man, I hope it is not as bad as it looks.
The compound has nothing to do with the viscosity. What the compound is suspended in does.
25g works best IMO.

These stupid threads had me so worked up, but when the time came for the first time, I noticed the needle was shorter, "Oh! It's already in!" Pushed it the rest of the way - no pain, no feeling whatsoever. No fuss. That was too easy.

I had visions of all sorts of excruciating pain, then arterial blood spraying out of my ass cheek, squirting against the wall in large streaks and splatters, passing out, then waking up and running around naked in a blood loss induced delirium all over the neighborhood with a syringe still sticking out of my butt cheek, screaming and waving my hands in the air
I was a little shocked to discover there was no pain whatsoever. Like I said, it was in before I realized I had put enough pressure on it to go in. I did not feel it going in - I saw it. Weird. No pain injecting, either. A little pain pulling it out because I let it get crooked on the way out, so the tip was "scraping" on the way out, but that is easily fixed by being a little more careful next time.
