Firslty... you didn't really ask a question re your protein sources.... you just listed them.... So I am not entirely sure what you are asking... but I will do my best to answer something...nR_Kris said:ok emma, this is where im getting my protein source:
1.- 250gms= 8.8 oz Chicken Breast
2.- 250gms= 8.8 oz New York Steak
3.- 240gms= 8.5 oz Tuna
and for my fourth meal i can get:
4.- 6 Egg Whites or
Cottage Cheesee
and compliments:
5-6.- N Large-2
multi vits
EFAS
Creatine
Glutamine
im going for 1.5xBW so that would be 1.5x155lbs=232 im trying to get at least 1gm of protein x 1lb of BW from real food, and that extra .5 from my weight gainer......(and im going for 1lb x pound of BW in my carbs section)what do you think
and i got another question, is it ok to eat frozen vegetables ??? since i cant cook fresh vegis, i dont have much time
1. I hate N-large so I would drop that straight away.
2. Try to get 80% of your protein from real foods and only use supplements when you need them (eg: straight after training and just use a plain whey isolate... If so required, you may need it just before training too)
3. Check out www.nutritiondata.com - it has all the stats on how much protein will be in those foods you listed... I don't know what type of New york steak you are using (that is - what grade it is, what cut it is etc etc) so I can't calculate it for you. I also do not know if these are cooked weights or raw weights - so that would also change the value.
4. The amount of protein you need and the amount of carbs you need will depend on what your BF is, what your goals are, how much you are training and your total calorie requirements
5. Unless you are sick, injured, endurance training or strictly dieting, the glutamine is a waste of your money
6. If you are really trying to drop fat - drop the creatine. It can decrease your bodies burning of fats as fuels (turns your primary fuel source more towards carbs)
7. It depends on where you are as to how good the vegetables are... Frozen are stacks better than canned - but whether or not they are better than fresh will depend on whether or not the fresh vegetables really are 'fresh' or whether they have been frozen, stored and shipped 1000000 of miles in poor conditions. If you can only get frozen - then these are fine.
