I am posting my gym workout......

Too much pushing, too much unnecessary isolation work, not enough pulling, not enough lower body exercises and not enough rest days
 
to be more specific you don't need to hit chest and shoulders twice a week... and you don't need to do all that isolation work for your arms... it's a waste of time... your arms get hit plenty hard doing bigger compound exercises like pull ups, chest and shoulder presses and dips... and where's the lower body pull exercises? (deadlifts, hyperextensions, etc.?) and ditch the smith machine presses... just use DBs and BBs instead...

i personally like built's "baby got back" split... it's a 4 day split with 2 days upper body and 2 days lower body... you can read about it here: Got Built? » Baby Got Back

and training 6 days straight (if that's what you're doing) is too much... i usually like to go 2 days on, 1 day off... you'll find you'll make better progress if you allow your body more rest time...

I completely agree with the "allow body more rest issue" but how am i gonna convince my gym guy?? Don't want him to take any offense you know......
 
what do you mean convince your gym guy? what's a gym guy?
 
It's his bitch. I assume his trainer.

My advise is if he has you doing this routine, find another trainer or fly solo. Just like skib said. You have a ton of pulling which I don't have a real problem with, but that combined with iso work is too much IMO.

You answered your own question.

Do yourself a favour, and read up on good program design (stickies, stickies, journals, stickies) and design your own. That series of workouts (its not a program, lets not kid around) looks like something i put together when i was 15 and didnt know anything about anything.

How the hell is this guy a trainer?
