i read that for cutting its really good to do your cardio in the morning... so i was just wondering if should drink my protein first and then do cardio like 20 min later.... i am just worried because i dont want to lose muscle and after 8 hours of sleep i dont have any protein in my body

You will burn the protein as fuel, which would not be the desired outcome, since your whole purpose of doing it on an empty stomach is to not burn food for fuel.

I agree....having protein before cardio....you'll just break it down for energy......wait and have your protein after your workout.

If you're worried about losing LBM first thing in the morning...my suggestion is to limit the cardio sessions to 40 minutes...max of 45 minutes at a low to medium intensity (approximately 70% MHR)

thanx for the advice guys.... appreciate it

Eat a normal meal for breakfast, wait an hour or two, and then do 10-15 minutes interval sprinting - going all out for 30-60 seconds and then walking/resting for 60 seconds. Repeat.

Takes a lot less time and alters hormone profile and metabolism in a much more favourable way for the remainder of the day (and possibly some into the following day).
