is it really nessary to eat 5 meals a day because i usually get up at 9 am and sleep at 11 because its the summer

i dunno how im should fit in those 5 meals.

anyone have suggestions?

secondly, is it wise to have 100% Optinum nutrion whey protein powder as 2 of the small replacement meals? (like a light morning and afternoon snack)

thanks

You should eat every three hrs....optimum whey in between your meals would be a good choice...just make sure you add something like flax or cream w/ it so your protein is not used for energy....smaller, more frequent, and balanced meals (as opposed to 3 large meals a day) will take you further in bodybuilding and gaining muscle/losing fat.

I would throw in a banana or something with the whey shakes for carbs so like w8lifter said the protein wouldnt be used for energy.

you would do much better using a blended protein like Optimum ProComplex in place of whey protein. the different proteins all modulate at different rates providing a longer more sustained release of amino's into the blood stream. much better for muscle building...

Is that decent tasting someone said that that stuff tasted like crap and they could drink it or maybe that was something else.

I aint LAM but i will tell you that protein is way better then nirtotech. Nirtotech is crap it is a overpriced, bad tasteing, unmixable, piece of crap. Nirto is a straight whey protien for a cheaper whey go for Optimum 100% whey that is for pre and post workout. Any other time look for a blended protein like ProComplex . I am sorry if i offened any muscle tech users. I had to say what was on my mind.

I've never used any MuscleTech products so I can't compair the tastes. the chocolate ProComplex is totally bearable(mixes with a shaker cup) but the vanilla is super nasty and I've never tried the strawberry as that looks risky as well...
