So you're telling me that you beleive people of all different body types and activity levels require the same percentage of protein in their diet?

And that only 16% of my caloric intake should be protein?
How about the other macros?

I almost spend as much on efa's as I do in whey. If protein sales are big business, why not carb sales and fat sales? :laugh:

If you ask me, all kindsa foods are expensive :funny:

No.... thats the point luke....... People just cant say you can eat this or that much..... BUT these thing have been studied in the past through N balance studys! and there REAL ....NOT HYPE......results have been found!!!!! and for people engauging in these activity levels there amounts where shown to produce the proper balance.......

Im sure HUGO G got as big as he did with 150g pro alone :rolleyes: maybe a little of this and that and NO JOB AND nearly round the clock training..... YOU GUYS AND MOST HAVE JOBS, SCHOOL and such........

Around the clock training is BAD larry :yes: The hot ticket right now is HIT (2-3 days a week, 45 minutes a day and two days of 30minute cardio)

Read up on overtraining buddy, both by muscle groups and the CNS.
 
yeah I guess Im bulking. I play football so a little fat wont kill me I just really need to throw on a couple pounds. Its my guess (I dont know too much about it) that Id be alright with around 50 grams at once. Im def going to get atleast 160 grams a day but I didnt know how much it mattered to spread it out. I dont get too many oppurtunities to eat with school lifting and cardio everyday so it can be hard for me to spread it out a lot. thanks for the input from everyone though.
 
Check out the guide to bulking in the sticky thread... That should give you a good idea on what to eat . Ive been following that , and Im having very good results.

Bones , hes actually a police officer where I live. Right now , hes on a job break for the whole year to do competitions (lots of travelling ) But believe me , he eats more than me and luke combined together. And what is remarkable , is that he has a pretty good cardio for a guy his size. But , no he doesnt do around the clock training. He does a lot more training than most of us , true . But his main training is to practice every "challenge " that he could do in a competition.

Btw , for breakfast only , I saw an interview with him and he said he ate a whole dozen of eggs , 1 whole bag of whole weat bred and a few other things . Id be sick in a minute eating that though.

Thats what he said luke. Keep in mind , hes about 300 pounds ... I know it seems big , but thats what he said. And , I belive it for one reason , if you make a search about louis cyr and what he used to eat in him time , youll see why I belive its possible.

That's still only like 70g of protein though. So larry would be okay with that :)
 
ya but , he ate a few other things , I think one was some yogourt , but its a bit vague ... I only remember about the egg dozen and the whole wheat bred.

But its possible , since I eat about 750 cals in the morning and Im only 170 pounds.
 
I go with what works. For me, high protein has always worked.

This calls for a routine change! Were's that damn Weider book at! Less cal's and more training = key to sucess!
 
Damn, I just checked my diet.. and some meals protein is OVER 90g.. and I am almost at 500g a day :eek:
 
I just ate a VERY LARGE Chicken boobie. Had to be about 8-10oz cooked :grin:
