I've read that egg whites have no carbs and that the protein in the egg is split evenly between them and the yolk
but looking up nutritional facts on eggs around the net, that doesn't seem right...egg whites do in fact have carbs (very little, but when you eat a lot of them, it may add up to 2g...let's be anal here)
Then I'm confused as to how much protein the eggs I buy have.
They're 70 calories each, 4.5 g of fat, 1g carb, 6g protein. So far, for the egg whites I've been doing 0 and 0 for carb and fat, and 3g for protein...at 17 calories...which of course doesn't add up cause 3g of protein equals 12 calories.
but maybe each egg white has a little more protein and a trace of carbs?? I don't know...I just want to have this stuff right. if you can help me out with this overly anal stuff, it'd be appreciated
