I'm reading Rapid Fat Loss Book and Lyle says: Surprisingly and quite contrary to
common belief, at rest skeletal muscle doesn???t burn that many calories. The idea that
adding muscle mass will turn you into a calorie burning inferno is simply incorrect.

Is that true??:hmmm:

Then why do 'bigger' musclier people burn more calories??

I'm confused with this statement....

I believe the idea is that even if you have a relatively large amount of muscle mass, you'll still get fat if you eat more calories than you need.

Bingo. You do burn MORE calories sitting around if you're more muscular, but not THAT much more.

They don't. Bigger more muscular people burn more calories because they bust their ass in the gym, and if they really want to be shredded they will bust their ass in the kitchen.
