I don't understand the science of things per say, but I will say this. My line of work is very stressful and often times leads to poor or reduced sleep. I'm still achieving my goals but the pace is very slow. So perhaps there is something to be said for this stress business. After October life will go back to normal until March.![]()

P is right that people use these things as excuses but they aren't excuses for everyone. Some people really do have cortisol issues. Some have high and others have low. Then if you add in lack of sleep, well now you are definately affecting cortisol and your circadian rhythms. If you do feel you may have these issues then it's best to get a salivary ASI test done instead of guessing. Symptoms of both high and low are very similar so there is no true way to tell without testing without testing.
