Are you really so blind that you can't see you are arguing with Ron Paul? The only thing that was posted was a direct quote by Ron Paul. The guy in politics who of anybody goes against the establishment of Washington. Everything you post about is how DC is in the pockets of big business. Of anyone in US politics Ron Paul should be your idol, yet even now, you are incapable of seeing the truth when it is right before your eyes and you continue to treat this forum like you are some sort of savior? dude, you are the biggest joke on here. It's really quite funny that you don't see how big of a clown you really are. How can you possibly say FUZO has a narrow point of view when he posted a quote, and gave no further follow up commentary? Your response was not to FUZO so much as it was to Ron Paul, a man much much more accomplished than you, who doesn't live in his mothers basement, and has statesman written all over him. I'm also positive that Ron Paul is not an economist, he's simply another politician who found a niche to fill and appeals to those not well educated in world history or economics because all he does is regurgitate history and people are "in awe" of his stance, it's hysterical.

Ron Paul has the educational chops and resume that people should and do listen to him because he is simply intelligent. His accomplishments are well documented. You? You are cut and paste. Cut and paste doesn't give you jack shit for credibility as an economist, or an educated individual. Black out your name and post up your resume son. WOW, Go back and read that quote and tell me if you find anything wrong with it? For every economist that will tell you one thing, there is another that will tell you the opposite. Economics is not a hard science the way that Chemistry, or Physics is. You don't think that with the intelligence Ron Paul has, and the Resume he brings he doesn't have an understanding of economics strong enough to make the statement he did, and Fuzo quoted?
You are defending an internet know it all with nothing to back up his claimed credentials, over Ron Paul, whose intelligence and credentials are public knowledge. Are you kidding me? Unless you know the guy personally, and if you do then please vouch for him, but the only thing i've ever seen from LAM is cut and paste. This might bother me, if YOUR rudimentary grasp of the English language was just a bit better. YOU ARE going to have to proof read your basic internet insults yourself if you want to have any credibility at all. YOU'RE just not bright enough to figure this part out are you? considering YOUR many, many incorrect, and often repeated misuses of YOUR. shit dude, i'd be fine with it occasionally in an argument. we all make quick typing mistakes, but if you are going to disparage someones intelligence you simply must not make a basic spelling mistake while doing it. Where were the hysterics? Again, if Ron Paul doesn't have the resume to make that statement which was quoted then speak up. I think his known intelligence, and CV speak for themselves and he is more than qualified to make that statement. LAM, whose credentials are completely unknown questioning a basic statement by Ron Paul shows a hubris not often seen even here on the internet.
Anyone can make that statement and it will be relevant and valid because it's true. That being said Ron Paul's background is in medicine, not economics. I know many brilliant engineers but some still can't grasp the importance of wearing safety glasses in a test lab. Smart in one area doesn't automatically equate to smart in another.
Thank you. perfect. We can agree it's a true statement. So what does it say about the tool who wants to argue with a true statement, and claims the person quoting it doesn't understand economics? One doesn't have to be a PhD in economics to make true statements about economics. Ron Paul is an intelligent man, who made a true statement about economics. I know what Ron Paul has done, and believe he knows more about economics than some joe shmoe internet guy who claims a lot, but doesn't know the difference between Your, and You're.
That was the only point I've been trying to make since LAM decided to argue with a true statement. I'm glad we could finally agree.
But it doesn't make Ron Paul an economics guru, expert, or whatever descriptor you care to use. It just means he made a simple statement anyone else can make. Doesn't make him all that and a bag of chips.
I never said he was an expert, guru, or any other descriptor. I just said he was qualified enough to make the true statement we agree that he did make. I'm also pointing out the ridiculousness of LAM arguing with a true statement. Thank you, I'm glad we could agree and get that sorted out.
The problem is that anyone is qualified to make that statement. Doesn't make them smart.
But it does make the guy arguing with a true statement an idiot.
Besides, Ron Paul is smart. Not necessarily for making that statement as much as for all the other things he's accomplished in his life.
