Scare after Lifting

Driving home after lifting for 60 minutes or so, I had to pull over because I had the feeling I was going to pass out. I felt great during and right after my lift, but 10 minutes later driving home, broke out in a sweat, numbess in limbs and thought I was going to pass out. The feeling of passing out lasted for only about 2 minutes, but the strange feeling of numbess in limbs and upset stomach lingered for an hour or so. Been lifting for 20 years never experienced anything like this before, same supplements for years, creatine, protein. Low blood sugar? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
 
This seems like a question you should be asking your doctor.
 
sounds alot like hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) .. do you take any fast digesting carbs post workout with your shake? or do anything different with your diet today?

as said above - should probably ask a medical professional if it was enough to worry you - best of luck
 
Id go see your doctor, this is nothing we should be answering on here
 
Yikes Bikes...sounds like a sugar low. This happens to me about once a month. Most doctors say fastest fix...start shoving peanut butter down your throat hole. It always works for me. 5 mins later I'm fine. I would still go see a doctor to make sure though.

Yikes Bikes...sounds like a sugar low. This happens to me about once a month. Most doctors say fastest fix...start shoving peanut butter down your throat hole. It always works for me. 5 mins later I'm fine. I would still go see a doctor to make sure though.

If it is low blood sugar eating peanut butter is a poor solution. Peanut butter has very little carbohydrate and all the fat in it slows gastric emptying.
 
Agreed cowpimp but, it is usually something in every household and the sugar in it is the quick fix. I usually only need a spoonful or two.

There is almost no sugar in it unless you happen to buy PB with lots of additives. Even then, there are tons of better alternatives.
 
My favorite is the kind mixed with white chocolate.:ohyeah: I forget the brand name though. I keep it in the house just for those "lows". And yes I suppose a fruit would be the primary but it just takes to long for me. Everybody is different.
 
Id guess low blood sugar, try throwing some carbs in your shake and drink immediately pwo before you even drive home.
 
You must have worked out on to much of an empty stomach and took to long for a post workout meal...

Did you just start a cut?
 
either a panic attack or hypoglycemic attack, you have acess to a blood glucose monitor?
see a doc for a glucose tolerance test
did you have any carbs during workout? or after?
this happend to me while on hgh, it dropped my blood sugar to dangerously low levels
