Very well said !!! but there comes a time of when there is intervention between the 2

I have been reading this thread for a long time.

I have just read through it from the first post to the last - at once.

Oaktown,

You very likely may have a chemical imbalance that is causing these symptoms.

I do believe that some, or most (not all), of your physical and mental problems are:

PSYCHOLOGICAL.

Whatever the reason, I hope you can get better and live a normal life without physical and mental pain.
Dude I was going to say the same thing but I thought people be like HEY MAN that guys got a problem. This thread is 8 months old.

^^what's ur point? u think it's psychological? is that what ur saying?

I DON'T think it's just psychological if at all. I should have said, it "could" be. "Psychosomatic" is the more appropriate word.

But....If the doctors have diagnosed you with Lyme disease it probably explains all of the abnormalities that you have had, and now you can treat them.

I cannot believe that the doctors did not run a test for Lymes diesease.

Also, have you been to areas of the U.S. where Lyme's diseas occurs?

Good luck and keep us posted, Oaktown.

i lived in eastern Washington the past year..

^ I grew up in Western Washington.

Do they have Lyme disease in Eastern Washington?

(Pardon the ignorance, I haven't lived there in a few years.)

are the bumps white? It could be a thing called 'thrush' and it makes your mouth sore and white. Its a yeast infection...it happens when someone is stressed or on meds that kill the normal bacteria. If it is thrush...get some meds...it can be painful.

i don't have any "bumps".

i also want to say my stomach rumbles all day long 24/7..i even wake up in the middle of the night..it doesn't matter if i eat or if i don't eat..it still hurts

Do you have Lyme's disease? Have you gotten the test results back yet?

Just a quick note, there's a multivitamin made specifically for people with GI disorders called Forvia. I can actually tell the difference in how I feel between when I take it and when I don't, something I can't say for many vitamins. www.forvia.com

thyroid med bumped from 15 mg to 60 mg..doctor wants to see if my energy improves..starting Monday no more amino acid/vitamin/mineral IVs..now we are going to detox where he injects chemicals to cleanse my body of all the heavy metals I have accumulated

small bowel series fine...ultrasound for liver..waiting for results...colonoscopy hopefully next week..if the results for that come back fine, the doctor will start treating me for Lyme's Disease intravenously. I forgot the name of the drug. It starts with an "R."...i'm happy i'm alive. i just wish i wasn't sick

waiting impatiently for Monday to come...want to start Lyme IV treatment

Wishing you the best oaktownboy :)

Stay strong Oak!! I'm so glad you know what you have now, I bet that helps mentally :) Lyme disease is curable, my best friends two sisters both have it. One of them was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at first, which turned out to be wrong. So your doc is giving you heavy antibiotics? And maybe chelation therapy for the heavy metals?
Please keep us posted, this a very interesting case (I'm a health science major, AKA health geek :p).
All the best to you :)

well i can't get the Lyme treatment until i switch from an HMO to a PPO...which is much more expensive..but i have no choice...goin furthur and furthur into debt...damn

Waiting for more liver and copper tests to come back and once they do I will also start chelation therapy as well. Suck playing dr with yourself all the time. The white in your mouth is probably from iron deficency and your immune system being low for so long. I feel for you bro I had to sell my 69 chevy to help cover some of the costs

had an endoscopy and colonoscopy performed yesterday back-to-back...doctor said everything looked normal...now i'm waiting for my insurance to jump on board to pay for Lyme IV treatment..it looks like they are actually willing..doctor has me on Valtrex to kill any viruses inside my body..will report back when i start Lyme treatment

so it turns out insurance is not willing to pay for the treatment but the doctor has knocked down the price from $7000 to about $3500-4000. good deal

the industry makes a living off not curing people...if everyone were healthy we wouldn't need medical insurance..

Still, health insurance that you pay monthly is suppose to pay for your expenses like mine does. It's just like car insurance just alot more important.

you would think so wouldn't you

Yes

I firmly believe that doctors make you do exams they know it is not necessary.

R.I.P.

I am sorry to hear about your freind, but some times medical field are total puzzled and can not give you a clinical defintion what is wrong with you and then just label you either insane or chronic fatique or fibromylasia. I have been down the same root as oak town boy and what I had no ordinary dr would ever find it. I had to do all the research and I told drs over a year and half ago find out what I am lacking and lets put it in. While here it is a year later, a simple mineral imbalancing caused the whole freakn thing. Labs test confirmed I had excess copper in my liver and deficiency in the blood. Solution chelate for 2 weeks and I will be back to normal. The over load of copper from a zinc deficiency caused by stress of dieting, cutting red meat and taking a shitty vitamin did me in. I back to orginal dr and told him :THANKS FOR FUCKING UP MY LIFE AS I KNEW IT" throw the tests on his test and walked out. Drs made mockery calling me a paranoid schizo to hydrochonriac, A dr even threaten to have little white men come and get me. Some people have to take matters in to their own hands and they are the ones to get better. Learn from my lesson no matter how good you eat think about all the stress we put on our bodies and make sure the vitamins /minerals you are taking are being absorbed. Majority of disease are just simple imbalances that could be corrected. Athletes are 80% zinc defieinct 90% magnesium 50% copper 60% chromium. and these are highly trained athletes that are still lacking even though they take their suplements !! We are not what we eat but what we assimulate...
