A friend and I where driving back from a local college after a few shots not drunk but above .08 like everything was under control. My friend leaves for school again tomorrow and I haven't seen him in awhile so we are parked on this street by his house which is a dead end just talking. We are talking for a solid 20 minuets then a car comes down the street and i see it's a cop, so I kick the car in drive and start pulling out (thought it would be not as sketchy?) The cop put's his lights on and pulls us over. I hand him my license, insurance, registration card, and my fathers business card because he is in law enforcement. He's asking me some questions I am responding fine but they are suspicious it seems. Next thing i know another cop comes down the road...(whenever there is 2 cops it's bad) the second officer approaches the window of my friend and starts talking to him. They pull me out of the car and search me and do the whole hands on head thing and I am not sitting on my car like they instructed me to do with my hands over my head and bright ass lights right in my eyes. Then a 3rd cop comes...Im thinking what the fuck is this really that bad? They ask if i've been drinking i say no. He asks "Then why does your car smell like booze" I reply..."No it doesn't" Than he leaves and goes to talk to my friend. They ask me if any guns or weapons are in the car I say no. (I had a airsoft gun in the car from when me and my friends would play every now and then) There are stray bb's in my car because one time i was going to refill the cartridge and they split everywhere and those things are impossible to find all of them. They ask if there is a airsoft gun in the car. I tell them yes and where it is. Then i get yelled at for "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS WHEN I ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY GUNS IN THE CAR?" I reply "I thought you where talking about a REAL gun that could actually do harm to a individual." Then he breaks down the word AirSoft...GUN....and I tell him sorry for the miscommunication. Now I have 100 syringes in the car also which i forgot to take out from when i picked them up. The officer goes "Consent to search the car?" (good thing i got stumbleupon and read up on my rights) I tell him "No because I do not feel comfortable with it." Then they try telling us that we are high and want to search the car for drugs, I tell him my eyes are red because i did a lot of traveling for easter and am very tired and was just about to leave before you guys came. The cop doesn't buy it and insists that we are high...I am still outside on my car arms above my head and shaking. The cop tells me to get back in my car and him and his fellow officers come to the driver side and passenger side window like something out of super troopers and goes "You too aren't doing anything back here right?" I reply "What do you mean?" He goes "You too aren't gay are you because if so we will let you guys go right now" I reply "No" They take me out of the car yell at me about how i have no respect for anyone in law enforcement even though every other word out of my mouth was Sir. They send me on my way...home and safe. Next time i think i might throw the gay card in the mix so you have leverage over the officer and you can just say you feel like your being discriminated against.....gotta love NJ
PS: They put the airsoft gun back in its place...in NJ it is a charge of unlawful possession of a gun to have one in your car

That's just cops being cops and showing you's guys they've mastered the art of doucebaggery!

Throw the gay card in and see what charges they trump up then. You'll end up blowing them just to keep the male prostitution charges off your permentnent record. No thanks, I'll take the DUI and move on.

idk yo the think about it no police officer wants to hear "Are you discriminating against me because im black, gay, etc..." They worried soon as they hear that I have a friend who used to always say "is it because im black" every time he got pulled over...every single time the officer does the same thing...stops asking questions and sends us on our way.

They were fucking with you bro. Just move on and accept it. It happens with everyone, although they were REALLY fucking with you to no extent! It just helps them get through thier shift. I would of went up to them and said good shit officers, you guys really are dicks.

We were in the so called resort area of Mt Pleasant, SC heading to my buddies grandfather's funeral in Charleston. I had a super cab F-250 at the time and since the back seat was full of product for work me, my buddy and his mom were sitting up front (center console armrest folded up).

Well I got pulled over speeding and when the cop walked up, I handed him my DL and Concealed Carry Permit. He proceeds to flip the fuck out and say where's the gun???? I said it's in the center console.

He orders us out of the truck while he looks for the gun. He's too fucking stupid to pull the strap to release the armrest where the gun is. Meanwhile my buddy, who is in his USMC dress blues, isn't happy and his mom is getting pissed (she never gets mad) because this guy is escalating this traffic stop himself. This is 9am and people are walking out on their ocean view decks watching this BS as well. The prick lectures me over the gun, unloads it, gives it back and writes me a ticket for 10 over. :jerkit:

You were driving drunk. You deserved worse than you got.

Take me to jail or let me go home.

Fuck cops. law enforcement is about business period.

maybe if you ever get a letter in the mail you should go to your local PD and say I deserve worse than just a letter.

I deserve to go to jail for a felony officer, i broke the law.

I remember the day I was cruising down this empty highway doing 65 in a 55 downhill when I suddenly see a State Trooper coming the other direction over the crest of the next smaller hill, I brake as quick as I can but I see he caught me and is making a u-turn. This was a couple of years too late before I started reading Hunter S. Thompson books and would have known
"Few people understand the psychology
of dealing with a Highway Traffic
Cop. Your normal speeder will
panic and immediately pull over to
the side. This is wrong. It arouses
contempt in the cop heart."

But I didn't, instead I pulled off onto a gravel road while he was still getting up to the crest of the second hill and I guess he didn't see where I went at first so he zipped past the gravel road where I was now standing next to my truck awaiting my berating for going too fast on the most barren highway in the county. How he missed the dust cloud I kicked up hitting the dirt road at 45 miles per hour while skidding to a stop I'll never know cause he didn't explain himself then nor while standing in front of the judge slobbering mad while giving testimony that I had pulled off in an elaborate attempt to elude him....yeah but back to me standing on the gravel road scratching my head and hoping to god that he is responding to a call and his turn around was just coincidence, but no. I hear tires squealing in pain and the sound of road shoulder gravel being violently flung into trees and then there he is barreling back down the other side of the road and then suddenly spotting me. He pulls up behind me his face beet red, and barely has the car in park as his feet hit the ground and starts in with, "Are you trying to make a fool of me boy!" "No, sir I knew I was busted so I pulled over right away." "Don't give me no lines boy, you thought you'd be slick and get away from me...." He was so pissed he even came to the court date to argue with the judge that I was trying to evade. Luckily the judge knew me from the High School Football games and told him that I was a good student who wouldn't do such a thing...." Some cops just have a hard time believing any young men are not up to no good....

You make me fucking wonder sometimes.

:roflmao:

Sounds like he was baiting you witht he gay thing. You say you were gay, he may have wrote down you were blowing your friend and caught you on public indecency or public sexual acts and burned you in the town square.

About 6 years back when dating my now wife, we were in the back of a parking lot in my jeep wrangler - had her naked and railing her good and proper when I got the spotlights on my vehicle. I had her get dressed real quick and he walked up and talked with her and I separately. She gave her the sad story of her living 45 minutes away and me not being anywhere close to my home - I just needed to bust one for chrissakes. He let us off and we split outta there. Woulda been embarrassing to see that in the paper the next day.

This is what I'm saying.

You're lucky they didn't find those syringes or found you were driving drunk. They could've given you the option to get arrested or walk free if you blew your friend in front of them.

i could file a complaint against them but i wont because it would be dumb because i was in the wrong its not like i was sitting there sober talking and it happened then i would have but just gotta whatever at the end of the day i won because they put the airsoft gun back in its place and let us go before 1:30 am which is when i said i wanted to be home

Wonder what? Wonder Wall, Wonder Woman? World of Wonders? Wah Wah Wah Wah WOnder why she ran away?

You can't hunt me down, I'm like a shadow you can only see when the lightning flashes then I bleed away into the darkness...a faint apparition your mind struggles to perceive if it was real or not....

Pretty much he violated your 4th Amendment rights. If he didn't ask for consent to search he's asking for trouble. If you have a CCP there's no reason for him to say or do anything about the gun. In South Carolina it's perfectly legal to have your gun loaded and in the glovebox or console.

one thing i disagree with is handing ur dads business card, or any pba card for that matter
how cocky must that look to a cop? if i was a cop and someone did that shit to me id do everything in my power to make a case out of the person

I didn't go "here ya go" Everytime i hand it out and they ask whats this for i just tell them that my father said if i ever get into trouble or pulled over to hand you this thats all. So i don't come across as a prick..which what i stated was the truth

Back in '98 cops in Honolulu used to drive Cushmans, little golf cart like vehicles. One day my friend and I were tripping and walking through Waikiki, I must have been walking like Hunter S. Thompson on ether outside of Circus Circus cause he drove up behind me and tapped me on the back of my leg with his Cushman. It startled me, but I guess I didn't freak out like he thought I would and he just drove off...I was like what the fuck was that about? My friend was like "I don;t know, but look at those fish swimming up that wall!"
