ok, today i was curling with 50lbs(i'm weak) 3 sts for 5 reps for strength training and after i did my 3 sets i put 60lbs on the bar to see how many reps i could pump out and i did 5reps now next workout should i curl with 60lbs 3 sets of 5reps and then put 70lbs on to see how many reps i can pump out?

I wouldn't even do bicep curls at your height, age and weight. Ya try putting on more weight.

if you can do 60 lbs with a 4 second positive and an 8 second negative without pushing your hips forward for five reps, then you should increase the weight. if your just humping the bar up, you should increase your form. i see some guys your age at the gym trying to curl about that weight (they seem about your size) and they have no idea what they are doing and just hump the bar up..... it does them no good to cul 60 lbs if they arent doing the movement maximally.

i keep my elbows at my side the whole time and i go slow i and i don't hump the bar

if the form is good then up the weight.

That is what I do, using the ez-curl bar right now I can curl abt 95 x 3 and that is what I do, once I can rep around 5 - 6 of that I put on more weight.

so next workout for b's i'm goin for 60lbs and if i hump the bar i'll nock it down to 55lbs

Try doing them with your back against a wall.
