Not a bad list (although I am not convinced that you could realistically eat enough pumpkin to get a good dose of starchy carbs... and I am not sure if squash or turnip would be ok either).

I would also add:
  • Corn (low GI)
  • Taro
  • Sprouted grain breads/wraps
  • Basmati Rice
  • Pearl barley
  • Rye (kibbled or whole)
  • Whole or cracked wheat
  • Mung Bean Noodles (VERY low GI)
  • Buckwheat

where do you get mung bean noodles? what is the difference between basmati rice and regular?

Mung bean noodles can be found at asian grocery stores (good supermarkets should also have them).

Basmati rice has a lower GI than normal. If you can get it, brown basmati has a lower GI again, and also offers more fibre and a better nutritional profile. :)

So corn is good?..........as long as you count it as a carb?

Corn is fine as a carb whilst bulking or if you are just looking to moderately reduce BF% in the realms of normal figures. However, I would be more careful when on a competition type cutting diet or if trying to get BF into the very low regions...

Corn - Cut :hair: Corn is good for bulking and same goes with carrots and beet but not a cut.

Spaghetti Squash, Acorn Squash, Eggplant are some of my favs.

hey jodi/emma what do you guys suggest i do this week... im getting my wisdom tooth pulled tomorrow and will be out for around 2-3 days in bed. I probobly wont be able to eat anything but scrambled eggs, cc, and shakes for a couple of days. Do you think I should keep my macros the same? Or should i cut back due to my inactivity?

Cut it back, your not going to be in any mood to eat or exercise for a few days.
