Agree "T" but that has a lot to do cause it's almost impossible to disipline a kid anymore without finding your ass in the slammer.

I remember my ex brother in law and what ahppened to him. His 13 year old daughter decided she was going to go out late one night with here friends. So while she is in her bedroom he tells her she's going nowhere. She then tells him to shut the fuck up she'll do what she wants to do. About that time he push her down on her bed and said she was restricted to her room. He then left her room. About 30 min's later the cops showed up and he spent 3 nights in jail for pushging her. She had called the cops from her bedroom phone.

you see that's the problem. how does it get to the point where a 13 year old tells a parent to fuck off ? it's obvious the child has no respect for the parent. children that have been brought up correcty have respect for adults and especially for their parents

That's the key right there. I'd never say that to my parents because I respect them. They brought me up the right way and therefore I wouldn't even cause a problem like that. If the parents let the situation of their out-of-control children go too far, they'll end up on Dr. Phil needing help. All they needed to do was enforce rules in the beginning and they'd be surprised how easy it is. My parents don't need to worry about any of us doing illegal things or saying things like that because we were brought up better than that. I'm really enjoying getting older because it seems like at least my mom really listens to me like I'm an adult.

speaking of parents and stuff, i live with me grandparents they give all the support i need and my parents got their heads so far up their ass! they don't care.....my dad lives about 3/4 mile down the road and i only see him maybe 3x a week and my mom huh i don't really care last i've heard from her she lived somewhere on house arrest and married a guy that drinks and abuses her and she gave up all her kids(2 +me)thats been 3years since i've talked or seen her....i've lived w/ my grandparents since i was 11months old

Some parents are just kids who never grew up. Don't feel bad about anything your parents did. It was their mistake and it had nothing to do with you. I'm sure that if I were in your shoes I'd feel differently, but try to remember that you're a different person and that they were just foolish.

A prime example would be my family. My father worked abroad and came home every weekend. I would get my beatings for the week for being bad . When my brother was born, our father worked longer abroad and farther away and we saw him less(from every 2weeks as long as 3-4 months) And my mother doesnt give discipline. "Dont do that" "Stop". I have grown up to respect my parents and i would never tell them to shut the fuck up. My brother did not get smacked much and he grew up and got worse. He doesnt go as far as cussing, but he will shout back and tell my mother to shut up and piss off etc...

I believe this is the way it should be. Too many cocky children in this world who believe its their god given Right to live here. No its not. You have been granted life thanks to your parents love(or...accidental ignorance )

This is a new trend seeming to occur in our century...
I will for ensure my children will never even have a thought of shouting back. Its called respect and a lot of kids need to learn this. 99% of the time, its just a good smack to get it through to them.

there is more. I guess this kid gives everyone shit, tells his mom to shut up, etc. basically no respect for any adults (his parents are in early 20's not married, etc). the neighbor next door was over the house one day and the little boy was just all over his ass calling him names etc. the parents never discipline the kid (obviously) so the neighbor grabs the boy takes him into the bathroom and starts washing his mouth out with soap. the little physcho started licking the bar of soap. i'm sure he will catch his first felony by 12
