SYNOPSIS: (Unofficial) As evidenced by the title, this new take on the fairy tale sees an expanded role for the Huntsman. In the original story, he is ordered to take Snow White into the woods and kill her, but instead lets her go. Here, the two are chained together for part of the movie as they make their escape. The Huntsman is not a love interest (fear not, the prince is still in the story) but acts more as a mentor, teaching the teen girl to fight and survive"​

First Set Photos of Sam Claflin as Prince Charming in Snow White and the Huntsman

Then you have have Sam Claflin who is playing Prince Charmant, probably eliminating Charming from the name due to it sounding too corny for this darker retelling of the fairy tale. Funny enough, the other Snow White film, Mirror, Mirror is also avoiding calling their Prince, Prince Charming. That was done out of a request from Armie Hammer, who says he wouldn't take the part if he was called Prince Charming.

The photos of the castle are from August, but they must of slipped past my radar and most everyone else.

I read an article about the Grimm tv series a couple days ago. The reporter mentioned that the stories have been "Disneyfied" over time to remove parts that would scare kids too much.

In that Brothers Grimm movie with Matt Damon and Heath Ledger the Huntsman was the servant of the Queen. We will see if the story is close to what the Grimms wrote.

Charlize Theron Featured In Latest Still For SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN

100% correct. It'll be Snow White meets Twilight. Kristen can't act for shit. None of the Twilight cast can. I still can't forgive my daughter for dragging me to see it.
