I always notice how people want to lose weight fast through dieting and stuff. My problem is not really like that. I notice that if I only have a meal or two over the weekend (since I sleep in, so that I miss lunch and breakfast) I will lost major pounds. I've lost nearly 10 pounds just from skipping a meal or two over a long weekend. Is that kinda odd? This is no bullshitting here. Does this happen to anyone else? I am skinny to start out with so maybe my metabolism is really really fast?

Or you could have dropped water and glycogen weight. ;)

10 pounds = a big calorie deficit in order to be 'real tissue loss' (muscle or fat). So you could not have created that from just missing one meal.

I meant a meal or two each day over a long weekend. So barely eating.

I'd hate to see your metabolism.

Same thing applies. 2 days is not enough to create a calorie deficiency to lose fat. You will not start to lose real weight until you create a significant difference between what you have taken in and what you have put out.

It is like saying you will 'get fat' from eating christmas lunch.... or that you will 'get smart' by going to college for 1 day.

The world doesn't work like that. Unfortunately, things take a lot more time and hard work.

;)
