Thursday I took a deviaton from the normal routine and deceided to load up the flat bench press. I was able to bench 300 x 2. I post the actual weight just to illustrate that its a heavy lift for me personally. I took the weekend off (friday, sat, and sunday) working only auxillary movements on my bowflex at home, and got back to it today... again with the bench press, but not as heavy. I just TOTALLY felt drained, and I didn't feel that way till immediately after I performed the first lift.
Is it due to the 3 day break? Is it because my muscles still havent recovered from the heavy lifts at the end of last week? Maybe it was just that I didn't have a very good breakfast today? Maybe there's no real way to tell haha.
Has anyone experienced this before?
