alright i just baught a cheap littl car so i can practice in till i get my real license. the car was very cheap lol i baught it so if i crash or anything its no big deal. what can is good so i can play my ipod in the car? and anything else i need for my car? i have a cel fone charger and a radar detector.

If its rear wheel drive weld the diff, that way you can get it sideways and learn how to drive.

If I were you, I'd have saved up and bought a car with wheels for a $1000 dollars.

Just buy a tape adapter.

Those are the best.

I had one that went through the radio and it was full of static. I wish my car had a tape player.

What use is a radar detector when you can see it since you'll be pushing that car.

I don't think a radar detector is going to help you that much. That car, from what it sounds like, sticks out like a sore thumb. If it was seen in my town, you'd be pulled over even if you were obeying the laws.

Dice for your mirror....

Getting a shitbox as a first car is a great, IMO. My first car was a pretty nice car, 97 Infiniti I30t. I abused the shit out of that car, crashed it etc and finally killed it three years later. That car did not give me one problem, except i had to replace the main wire harness in the engine one time for like 100 bucks. It ran me till 200k until i killed it. That thing would still be running today, two years later, if i was a more responsible(experienced) driver.

As far as what you need:

Chrome dub spinners
Mirror tints
Hydraulics
2 12's or 15's if you can fit in the back w/some kind of high powered amp
Primered front fenders with the rest of car whatever other color.

So, one could also teach their children how to respect their own property, and how to properly treat a car, instead of promoting the throwaway notion so popular in american culture.

No, you learn but by making your own mistakes, which you inevitably will.

Danny, do not drive that car without insurance, for god's sake.

Buy the service manual. There's a Haynes on eBay rt now for $8.30 delivered. Next get a tune-up kit and some tools and do a basic tune-up on your new ride. This will get you some little bit of knowledge of your motor and introduce you to knuckle-busting while improving your gas mileage. The car prolly has at least 170,000 miles since back in them days ford had a bad habit of not using a 6 digit odometer so it's been rolled over at least once. For $500 who cares. You're just gonna beat piss outta the thing anyway.

Yeah ... I'm commenting on this thread of yours danny under the presumption that you are gonna do this the right way. Drivers license, insurance ... and so on. You are going to do that right?

Yeah. They kick ass actually.

just pay attention to what the fuck is going on around you,

and dont speed when you see a cop,

its that simple.

if you have to break really hard while a cop can see you, say you thought you were going to hit a little kid or something.
