witchdoctor-Ignoring the correct terminology, one technique I use with most of my workouts is antagonistic super-sets.You alternate sets for opposing muscle groups.I.E.-bench presses alternated with bent rows.You take a rest interval between sets(the length of which is dictated by your training goal).Then repeat until all sets for both exercises have been completed.This works well when training for strength.Also,they are not an intensity technique like supersets, which will cause you to burn out if used too frequently.
