I am thinking about getting a tattoo of my wives name on my left pec I have never had a tattoo have thought about it for years thou. We have been together for almost 17 years. I had held off since I was a fat ass for most of that time up in to about 5 years ago I dropped most the weight. When we met I was in shape but not like i am now.

First I would never have a name on me as it just seems like bad luck. I do have an infinity symbol on my ring finger and so does she.

To find a good artist you have to look through their portfolios. Experience means a lot in tattooing. My artist has been doing it for 25yrs and I wouldn't ever go to anyone else. Look around and don't settle for anything but perfect.

guys crazy, hes a born again christian now and does youth ministry but he has surgically implanted studs in his penis and shit. i many of you guys are non believers but his testimony is insane, he refuses to get anything covered up to remind him of his past sins.

i went from 150 to 200lbs and back down to 150 and now on the way back up and all is fine bro no worries abut stretching unless you gain like 150lbs maybe but if it's in the 70lbs range no problem i'm tatted down bro so i def know

I can say I know a lil something about tattoos.. I did quite a few back in the day and still do for friends, until I had my daughter and had to get a real job with health insurance. Anyways bro, tattoos are definitely addicting. I originally wanted 3-5 tattoos and now I hardly have anymore room to put new ones. I would recommend the following: #1 good tattoos are not cheap, and cheap tattoos are not good (most of the time) meaning find you a good professional artist. #2 usually for first tattoos I recommend a less painful area than the chest. In my opinion chest is one of the most painful areas besides your stomach, ribs, and neck. But if you still want your chest as a first tattoo some ibuprofen might help or better ask your artist if he has numbing gel it helps a lot. But, to be honest a name on your chest will probably be minimal pain. Take it, you'll be fine. I have my entire chest covered and that was a bitch. #3 if your curious as of how the tattoo would look before you get it or if your still on the fence you can ask your artist to draw it and put the stencil on you. It could last a couple days on you if your careful. Of course this would be an extra charge and many artist won't do this because they think you might go get the actual tattoo somewhere else. Good luck my brother and I hope you get it.. I personally love the pain.

and for the record, pregnancy didn't wreck the tat on my stomach so i really don't think you guys need to worry about getting so massive you shred your tattoos.

Yeah I am not worried about the pain to much. I have been known to pin my pec's . My wife is more worried about the name tattoo curse she has read about. I don't believe in stuff like that I think here name over my left pec would be cool. But now I am thinking inside my left arm might be cool too. Not worried about job wise you can't see it and I am in IT so not many see us anyhow.
She wants to get a finger tattoo of my first initial on her ring finger.
