Sadly my raw max bench, dead and squat are all about the same.
 
i have no idea to be honest

just started training a few weeks ago after a long layoff

i think 4 something for squat

bench, i dont know, but very low im sure

ill be trying 5/3/1 starting mon, or maybe starting strength program
 
i should be squatting like 1000 now, but i took 10 years off

my shoulders are double jointed,so bench is an issue, but i will 1 day hit a 300 raw bench
 
and my elbows r double jointed as well

good for wrestling,not so good for bench day
 
my legs are very very strong

b ut i always wanted a big bench. i cant bench 275 now,not even c;lose
 
I never maxed on deads or squats. My best reps when natty were 365x6 for 4 sets on deads, 405x6 for 4 sets on raw squats....just a belt and 405x1 on raw bench, all at 215-220 and at 19 and natty.

On roids in my 30's I benched 365x18 ( could have hit 20 at least) then 3 sets with 405x12 and last set 505x2 and at 257lbs. My guess is at least a 550 max raw bench.
 
the thing im wondering about is this


on wendler's program, he says to add only 10 lbs per month to lower body exercises,and 5 for upper body


should I go higher?

I work out alone most of the time and I'm usually alone in my gym so maxing
Isnt the greatest idea.

i always work out alone. so i feel you on that. the only problem is my 1rm isnt my true 1rm.

bench, its up to 255.
squat/deads?? i havent worked out my legs in 3 months. theyre too fucking big lol. all i do is put on mass in my legs. now, if only my arms would follow suit, and not my stomach!!!
 
Not current but my best ever was 455 raw bench.....495 squat (sad I know)....and 495 dead.....wierd how close they all are...that was @ 218lbs BTW....Back surgery has ruined most of those numbers though...especially the deads

I have the same problem lol my legs seem to grow so much faster than my upper body.
 
What Wendler says is pretty much gospel....after all it is his program. What is you're reason to raise the numbers higher than prescribed, parsifa?
Have you gotten a chance to read the second edition?
 
it is slow, i haven't been on the site for a while, but honestly, with Ad's being shoved in your face at every corner, the front page forum listing looking so messy with ads larger than forum titles... could be why....
 
life support huh! That is too bad! I am going to post up a little blurb on deadlifting here shortly.. .hopefully we can get something going!
