I am probably overcomplicating things here, but should the fat amounts -- NOT the fish oil/EFAs, but the 10-15 grams fats added to the two higher-fat meals -- be adjusted based on body weight? Everything else is, and of course, if one were using higher fat proteins, the amount would naturally shift based on portion size.

Or, like fruit carbs, is this one of the cases where KISS applies? :p

You worry too much.

It is my obsessive-compulsive nature. I call it "compensation", but some would say "overcompensation".

lmao

I was almost tempted to write: "From experience, i can tell you what TP would say: Stop being so anal."

But from one anal guy to another, i figured id try to help. :D

I think I am going to write the anal-retentive version of Carb Cycling, once I am done with TP-PT.

*snicker*
thanks. Actually, that's why I'm trying this program for Cut Phase II; I'm hoping the slight relaxation of the High Carb Day will make me less of an utter bore to my nearest and dearest for the next two and a half months.

However, it caused me great alarm when I finished off nearly an entire sleeve of Fiber One for breakfast, on this, the first of my High Carb days -- and was, nevertheless, "satisfied but not stuffed." And starving again two hours later.

Personally, I prefer No Carb Days. But they make me slightly more testy and sarcastic than usual.

:haha: And you thought people want simplicity :funny:

I have a question on Carb cycling as well

Right now I'm 5'7" 160'ish lbs (male). I want to reduce my body fat so I'm going to try cycling after I read the article on it. Previously I was just doing lower calories a day, I did get down to around 140lbs but I still looked fat, like around my stomach/chest so I think my body fat % is still high (now back to 160lbs)

I'm a little confused on how much the calorie intake should be per day. I see on low days carbs should be gram per pound, and protein gram per pound among all the days (if I have it correct). On any day though is there, especially the high day, are there any calorie limits, like no more than 2000 per day etc. or is it an FFA as long as you get your protein in?
