My hat's off to those who died trying to save the innocents. All the emergency workers on or off duty gave their best and sought nothing. We should remember them all; but the ones who saved lives and went back in only to die, will be in my heart and mind forever. May your God be with you. Thank you and Rest in Peace.

nice post, TGS-

I was watching something on the Discovery chanel the other night about the towers, how they were built, then how they came down..got to watch that over again....
All the emotions came up again. Anger, sadness, revenge, disgust..

Today is a day for mourning.

I was on vacation when that happened. My wife woke me up and said honey we're under attack. That got my adrenaline pumping like nothing has before. If I may suggest also that the passengers that crashed in Pennsylvania be noted for their bravery and saving innocent lives.

dam straight: Let's roll!
THAT is what a hero is

dumbell- you already answered.
where where you when it happened?

I was at work waiting for my shift to end and CNN was on in the back ground. We looked up to see the 1st tower smoking and people asking what had happened, then a few moments later, we watched the second plane slam in.
We just stood there with our mouths open. Did that just happen?

I live in a highrise about 1/2 mile from the Pentagon. The plane that hit came close to hitting the top of our apartment building. It was loud and freaky when I looked outside to see a plane that low. We could see smoke rising from the Pentagon for about 2 weeks after. Hard to believe it's been 2 years, still feels like it was yesterday.

That was a nice post TGS, thank you.

I live in Canada, but the gym I was working at had CNN on the TV's. After the first plane hit the towers the whole place just kind of stopped. Nobody was working out anymore...we were all in the cardio room watching what had happened and thinking about the potential ramifications of what had happened. I'll never forget it.

Shall we never forget and also remember the brave heroes! God Bless the USA!!!:thumb:

God Bless all those affected!

So very true. On top of that, our newspaper has Bin Laden on the front page with the headline, he's back I realize that it's news, but I'd prefer not to see that face on the front page, especially on this day!!

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Why not NT, you could wipe your ass with it...Although Newspaper is not the softest stuff...and then of course you would have a tatoo of bin ladens face on your ass...I don't know, it is up to you NT, I say go for it anywho.

Today really is a day for mourning..

My thoughts are with all of the people who lost someone on that horrible day two years ago.

As if that wasn't enough:
The swedish Foreign Minister, Anna Lindh, died this morning after being stabbed in a mall in Stockholm yesterday. She was one of the few politicians that I actually liked and I've seen her speak many times. She was very dear to the people of my country and it is a big loss for us.

Damn, you guys wouldn't believe the scrawny little asshole that I have in one of my classes.

Someone stated that it was 9/11 today and he came out and said "Who cares?"
Most of the people around who heard couldn't believe such a dipshit thing was said but when he caught me staring right at him he quickly put his head down and shut up. Fuck I wish I could bitch slap some people and not get suspended.

I'm sorry to hear about that Jenny. Something like that is completely not expected. I've heard good things about her.

 Sorry bro, when I'm on here I'm usually in a good mood and joke around a lot. Then I was just pissed and I knew that if I said one word I'd blow up. I'll just have to make it a point to make sure that he will be terrified to step into the class room from now on. :thumb:

That is the most unamerican thing I've heard in a while. Not what he said but what you said. He exercised his right to free speech and you responeded with wishing to be violent towards him. How is that not the appitimy of hypocracy? Condeming the exercise of the supposed freedoms we're spending 52 billion more next year to protect. I get ridiculed if I say anything disagreeing with the war or what we're doing internationally, this is really not that different than a lot of other countries. The only things we only have now is guns but they're using 9/11 as an excuse to take those, even though more guns in honest citizens hands could help stop terrorism. If you ask me they are more concerned about having more power over americans than they are about safety or terrorism, and they are using 9/11 to start wars and pass things like the patriot act. Throw patriot on anything and it'll sells. I love my country but pretty much everyone in government is crooked and/or stupid. Just my 2 cents.

Liberals are taking free speach and making it what its not.

For instance. Liberal judges throw out law that says we can't watch child molesters on the web in order to stop future crimes, because that's against freedom of speech.

It's off subject, but it shows that we all have a different opinion of what freedom of speech covers. Someone who repiles: "Who cares" is traitorous to me.

I dont think you understand free speech RCfootbal87. Yes, the kid had a right to say that. But Irontime also had the right to not like him saying that. Just because you voice an opinion doesnt mean you are free from ridicule about what you say.

That's awesome. Remebering that day is one of a very few that can make me cry.

F'n get serious  . Is that some shit that some liberal hippie college professor fills your head with? Sure people are free to speak, but to be an insensitive prick on the anniversary of one of the largest tragedies ever is just plain ignorant...along with anyone that supports him. DAMN I HATE STUPID REMARKS LIKE THIS!!!!!!!

Well I am Canadian, so yes that is unamerican.
But to comment on the rest of your bullshit, I was pissed that he so blatantly disregarded the fact that a lot of people said goodbye to their kids that day and that it was actually a final goodbye to them. If his parents died in a work related accident I'd be the first one to go up to his face and say 'Who cares?'

Now unless you pulled your head out of your ass, don't bother commenting on this one.
