alright people, just a quick question i have. i know not to train upper body two days in a row but is it alright to train upper and lower two days in a row. My current split is

chest, biceps
legs
back, triceps

so is it o.k to do this on monday, tuesday, and thursday? When i train i use a really high intensity so the next day i'm always really tired.

You can train upper body 2 days in a row while building or cutting. As long as your bodypart arrangement is good...for instance...monday: chest, biceps...tuesday:legs...thursday:back...friday:delts, triceps.

oh shit! I thought he was saying

chest, biceps
legs
chest, biceps

I must not have had my glasses on!

Yeah, that is fine to do

chest, biceps
legs
back, triceps

The only thing I would not like about it is working back the day after legs, especially if you do squats.

Prince...keep your glasses on, ok?

cheers guys!!
do you think i should swap my leg and back day around so that i'm doing back before legs?

Personally, i'd do legs then back, I'd want my back strongest for squats but really, if your doing legs then back the next day you should alternate squats and deads, do one one week and switch the next.

Follow the split that I mention above...it will work great...I promise!

gopro i can only train 3 days a week so would it be o.k to put back in with triceps delts?

ac..if you can only train 3 days per week, I would suggest the following...

Day 1: chest, back, abs
Day 2: quads, hams, calves
Day 3: delts, biceps, triceps, abs

I used this split for my first few years of training. I went from 130 lbs to 200 lbs on it.
