Vial/Rubber Stopper Question(s)

What's up guys.

I started my first cycle about a week ago.

12 week cycle:

250mg Test E x2 a week
12.5mg Aromasin ED


PCT

Clomid 75/50/50/50
Nolva 40/20/20/20

Anyway my questions have to do with the vial/stopper.

I have 3 10 ml vials of Test E with rubber stoppers. My source bottled the vial(s) themself (swabbed rubber stopper, used 18g to fill etc...)

The problem is that there is 3 or 4 smaller rubber chunks in one vial and a couple in the other vials from the 18g obviously.


Now the bigger problem is that I've been drawing out of one vial, through the same hole, with an 18g and switching to a 23g to inject. I haven't added more rubber chunks but made a hole big enough to wear it kinda condensates/leaks out if turn it upside down and if I can kinda see a little light through it if I hold it up to my window.

So first off, can I avoid the rubber chunks by just drawing with a 23g needle and also should I just toss the vial I was speaking of I mean is it contaminated and done with - I just don't know if its common sense or not considering I figure I contaminate it every time I draw air into needle and inject into vial before aspirating the oil anyway right???

you really should filter it and use a new vial with a better stopper..you get even a micro size piece of that stopper in you and it might not be a good thing..go the safe route and filter it..

Okay any links or ideas on that procedure I know I can just snag the supplies for it from where i snagged my pins.


Also is the vial of test with a small hole in the stopper (that kinda leaks if turned upside down) contaminated???

In the future you may want to switch to a 20 to draw with. 18s tend to cause the kind of problems you're experiencing. Loss of vacuum, etc.

Heres what to do:
Go to a medical supply website and buy sealed sterile vials, you can buy 3 easy.
Along with those, buy 1 syringe filter, size doesnt matter but bigger the size the easier it is to filter, and you wont have to worry much about a piece of rubber, the filter will remove it if by chance a piece makes it through the needle and into the syringe. BTW use a 20-22g needle to draw, I use 22 and never had a single issue.
Next what you do is draw out all oil from one vial into a syringe, remove the needle, attach that needle onto the end of the syringe filter and attach the filter to the syringe where the needle previously was.
Once you have the syringe with the filter set up, swab your empty sterile vial and insert the end of the needle into it. You will also want to add another needle into the vial (a smaller size like 23-25g) to allow air pressure to be released so the transfer process doesnt take an hour.
Once you have that set up, push all the oil slowly through the filter and into the new vial, it will take time and make sure you dont press too hard because if it starts to flow at a fast rate you more than likely cracked the filter and its useless.
Once you complete the transfer, you leave the venting needle in and place the vial in an over at 220 degrees for 30 minutes. This allows further sterilization of your product, as I feel the source you had was not very careful or sterile.
