just wondering if it would be safe for me to take hydroxycut
i'm 16, 215 pounds, and have a BMI of 35.8

Check out the Diet section and quit eating junk. Hydroxycut is a waste anyways. Start eating right and get your heart rate up. Do some more cardio, and the weight will fall off. Trust me.

any good protein drinks i should take while doing cardio and weight lifting?

Don't fall for all the gimmicky brands out there, basic whey protein powder is all the same (for the most part)

Personally I don't think you need to worry bout it at this point. Focus on learning basic nutrition, cardio, weightlifting. <-----get these in order so u have a good knowledgeable foundation you can work with. K lil bro

Well said

trixter, definitely listen to the above posters. first get your diet in check. if you're looking to lose weight, make sure you're burning more calories each day than you are taking in. don't buy the hype on all these products. they are just SUPPLEMENTS. they should SUPPLEMENT a good diet and training schedule.

keep learning bro, you'll get there.

thanks guys for the supportive suggestions

just gonna be doing cardio for now

DON'T just do cardio. Split your week into 2 categories...weights and cardio. Don't go for diet pills right now. What you want can easily be achieved with D.T.R. (diet, training and rest).

*Hydroxycut sucks anyways :owned:

You don't have to quit eating all junk food btw, just proportion yourself.

Also, don't just do cardio. While it is important it isn't nearly as important as resistant training. The more muscle you have the more Calories you burn. Also, when you slim down, you will look even more slim with muscles.

You can do it, just stick with it.

I lost alot of weight but just limiting myself. For someone who just starting dieting it is better to wean yourself by just cutting down on calories then start adding in healthy foods instead of the junk. How I did it anyways.

DON'T DO THIS!!

You are limiting yourself greatly. I've lost weight doing cardio and changing my diet, but I REALLY started losing when I cut way back on the cardio and focused on lifting. Now I lift five days a week and do cardio twice a week and am dropping like crazy. Of course, I'm a middle aged woman, so - I'd imagine it will work even BETTER for you!

I take vitamins/supplements but I don't take ANY weight loss type stuff and I'm easily dropping more than the recommended amount each week.

Read up on the getting started link in Built's sig. Go from there.

So did I. 90 pounds gone for 5 years already.

The reason why I quoted you, is because I basically said the same thing you did a few post earlier :roflmao:

+1

When you do cardio, look into HIIT type cardio. It does wonders.:winkfinger:

There is no reason to take it. All you have to do is to start eating healthy food and do more excercices.

^^^ I pretty sure Ronnie used to take the special bus to school.

if you are 16, then i would NOT recc taking a supplement like this yet. you have to be 21 to take Lipo 6 and 18 to take Animal Cuts, and im shocked that the other top supplements don't have an age requirement as well.

take my advice, do things the natural way while your younger before you dive into the fat burners

I would do low weight high reps, cardio, then strength (high weight low reps) split it up in the week, but make sure you do cardio nearly everyday. plenty of weight loss supplements that help just check our sponsors. oxyelite pro at gnc I heard good things about as well. 38%bmi is alot I would use proper nutrition and workout until you get your blood pressure in check before trying pills.. also NO protein drinks after cardio. also make sure you have a LOW Calorie drink otherwise you'll just fill in your stature
