... actually, it does NOT dilute the digestive juices. However, what it does is it forces your CNS (central nervous system) and all of your organs that process what you're eating to slow down the digestion process because the organs/CNS are also having to allocate where the water goes. If you have an active system (which, if you're weight training, you do!), then you won't have as much of a problem as say, someone with a sedative lifestyle or an elderly person. If you DO eat your meal without fluids, it's true that your body will process it faster because it's in its natural state and your body doesn't have to separate factors out. Does that make sense? Crazy, I know, and the above statement wasn't correct ... but eating a meal without drinking water can sometimes help your digestive system to more quickly process everything. If you do that, just drink a full glass 5-10 minutes after you've finished eating and you'll be set to go.
