Great comeback, truly worthy of an Internet asshat.

Exhibit A:

You said you didn't like it P/RR/S because, "the reason I don't like it is because it is too much arm isolation, and it is body-part training". P/RR/S isn't necessarily any given sets of exercises. It's simply varying the reps, sets, tempo, and rest time. You can use it with any mix of muscles or body parts or with any split.

OK Ill start it tomorrow with my split, thanks for the info:thumb:

Wow thanks for all your comments, some a little off topic and a bit of back and forth dissing, but I appreciate your guy's suggestions, I will track my information a bit more, I forgot to mention the workout was around 8:00PM as well and I didn't have the greatest meals that day, but I'm glad some people say they also have off days some times. THANKS ALL!!

P-funk- I think people get results from it, because of the rep changing, but don't you think the routine/exercises are bad, maybe if he did the whole power/rr/shock with an upper lower or a push pull legs routine it would be alot better, and make alot more sense, there is two stickies, and they say the opposite things- it just doesn't make sense to me.

PS- I did not think you would say the routine is good at all, Im surprised

well, i am sorry to disapoint you. I don't see anything wrong with the program to really critisize. Just because it is more body part oriented then things that I do or recomend does not mean that it is bad. i am certainly not the be all/end all to training. i am just a guy with a few ideas i like to kick around. gopro could certainly turn around and say that my programs are shit because they are centered around total body workouts or upper/lower splits.

I mean, the biggest problem with body part training is that people end up fucking it up because they over emphasize one thing to much and/or they don't account for the volume and intensity. he accounts for everything nicely IMO.

would i do the program? no, because it isn't somethign that is geared towards my personal goals. does that mean that no one should do the program? no, it can work for those that are into bb'er type training as long as they (a) follow the program and (b) account for their own personal level of recovery and ability to handel certain amounts of volume.

How long do you think I could take time off from the gym without losing any gains to let my body catch up?

how long have you been training staight for?

in general, I take a 4-7 days off from training ever 12-16 weeks or so to give myself a break.

i also work in 4 week blocks...so, I work my ass off for three weeks, back off on week for and then do it again. after 3-4 blocks of that I take a week off. I like the 4 week cycle, it lays in a month nicely.

Cowpimp: How can you say that, when it is body-part training, and too much isolation arm work?
Just the other day, you were saying that you should not consider CG Bench a tricep exercise, look under gopros routine, he has CG Bench under triceps.
I came here, and read and understood why body-part training is absolutely stupid, and now your saying that his program(wich is body-part training) is a good program:confused:

I want to here what p-funk thinks.

You don't have to use a body part split with P-RR-S. The skeleton of the program is just alternating set and repetition parameters on a weekly basis.

Furthermore, I have said countless times that body part splits can be properly implemented, but they usually aren't. Gopro is a smart guy, and he knows how to do shit right. I outline these "rules" of designing programs because most of the people coming here looking for advice need that rigidity.

Also, my training philosophies differ from GP's in a lot of respects, but he is good at what he does. He gets his clients results. I don't think he's wrong, I just prefer different means to achieve the same end.

He doesn't go overboard in his arm work examples either. 5-6 sets each for the biceps and triceps is reasonable in my opinion.
