Wow a joke..Especially against those who cannot spell it.
There is nothing individual about it, and it is indeed a blanket statement. While running a deficit, high or low GI foods do not impact upon fat-loss. They CAN, however, impact upon hunger. If you eat more than you require, you're going to gain weight. Thermodynamics, like gravity, is more than a good idea - it's the law.![]()
That is what the research supports. Restating this, there is no research under calorie-controlled conditions where it mattered.
Now, I am not saying that you will feel COMFORTABLE with this approach. I know that I would feel unbearably hungry, and left to my own devices, would overeat. But it would be the overeating that would prevent fat-loss - not the GI of the foods I consumed.
GI is pretty much bunk btw. It was a good stab at what was going on, but nobody eats one food at a time, in isolation of all others. I mean, when was the last time you sat down and ate dextrose, or white Wonder bread? Toss some butter into the bowl, and the GI drops. There goes the model.
put down the fork![]()
I appreciate the feedback I had just purchased it though and had it delivered, I really don't want to waste it ill do tabs next time for sure...
Have you any idea what might a good dose for me start with what I have?
25 mcg clen\ 25mcg t3 to start then raise every 3 days until you get to 100mcg clen \ i think 100 t3 also but not sure, other people know a little more on here thats why i ask for help on here but the clen should be gtg
I still disagree.
So going off what you have stated (several times) that it really wouldn't matter if (example) I drank a dextrose and whey shake before bed as long as I was in a calorie deficit? That is the model I am basing this off of, so no I don't think the model is bunk.
I understand the logic of combining two different sources to lower the GI content.
I realize this is a month after the fact - however you can get her to take drugs to force her body to burn stuff she doesn't have because she's starving herself? Not maintainable and may induce her body to fight even harder to hold onto the energy sources it has left.
IMO you're a dumbass for giving her drugs and she's a bigger dumbass for expecting healthy bodyfat loss from a shitty quality starvation diet & little to no physical activity. Its not maintainable so dont' expect great things. And for god's sake dont' start playing w/ thyroid medication.
Start by cleaning up the diet and getting in "snacks" as a start to more frequent meals.
I meant to preface my statement with, "with all due respect" and I also just caught the first post about not using AAS but ok w/ clen -- but your statement:
- her diet sucks
- she starves herself
- she's willing to take drugs
I get that you're trying to help but if we just step back here and apply some logic - you'd be willing to take UG drugs and thyroid medication to lose weight - while most likely the reason she's not "losing weight" is because of the way she eats. I'm drawing the conclusion that she's nutritionally starving herself if she eats a shitty diet to begin with, and further is starving herself calorically because of limited food intake in general.
The body can only reflect the environment you expect it to operate in. Shitty fuel = shitty use of fuel. Your body is designed to run efficiiently - it is a wonderful optimized biochemical machine. When you let it run the way it is designed to run, barring any medical issues, it runs wondefully. I've carried the extra 10-15 lb my whole life - I put on muscle and fat easily - I've also dieted down to sub 7% bodyfat several times for competition prep. With diet & cardio & training. In fact, since training is sort of my "natural state of existence", its really the diet & the cardio that make the difference. But they have to be honest & consistent to get results.
I also feel that if you throw in controlled substances to force some result in her body, her body may just say "fuck u" and decide eve more to not work with what you're trying to make it do. Clen jacks up your CNS, which will further cause tension headaches, stress and poor quality sleep. This could end up negating itself by jacking up cortisol. The whole point of using SUPPLEMENTS, is to SUPPLEMENT an already functioning diet & training program. Your gf has neither of these, so throwing in a bunch of other shit to further stress her system may work for a short period of time but its absolutely NOT a maintenance program. Even if itworks, as soon as she comes off, expect a nice rebound to where she is now, or worse.
Sorry for the rant, but I know exaclty where you're coming from because I used to be that girl, but the light finally shown threw and i GOT It. If you make a few small tweaks to you gf's lifestyle, I'm sure she can get the results she wants in a MAINTAINABLE way that will actually IMPROVE her overalll well-being instead of adding stress in hopes of producing "weightloss" , which I"m sure she believes will fix all her issues in life.
Didnt' mean to call you all dumbasses, but the logic is very plain & simple and it just drives me nuts to no end when no one wants to spend the time to make a few changes to their lifestyle to let their bodies run the way the were designed, but are immediately willing to throw down controlleled substances without a moment's thought about what's really going on.
I take it you got my pm, well yes i have got her to eat more< and better food. Also having kids and school is hard she does try tho witch is hard in it self, so i give her credit!! Sometimes i joke on here, to laugh, or make other people laugh. I don't want to start shit with no one on here I left the drama behind in my life on the street not to pick it up here. I just ask for some help sometimes cause i don't know everything and it's always good to get people with knowledge to help right? So thank every one who has helped me
and sassy69 sorry for the explosion lol bad day
Understand.. but also posting "my gf wants to lose weight what can she take" on a steroid forum is a loaded post.
It sounds like she's maybe headed a little in the right direction -- if she's really interested in cleanign up the diet and getting things moving in a more productive direction w/o having to make massive changes to lifestyle or spend hours in the gym - I always highly recommend Bill Phillips' BODY FOR LIFE book. It lays out a framework for a diet instead of giving you a strict meal plan w/ no flexibility, and also a training program that requires 3 days of lifting and 2 days of cardio - no more than 30-45 min / day. These are the foundations of most hardcore training & diet programs so there's nothing weird or contrived about them. You dont' need to use all the EAS products that he pushes, but they also give you an idea of what sort of foods or comparable protein options. The book itself is a pretty easy read - it tells you the WHY as well as the WHAT.
You can disagree all you want. Your body, however, agrees with me. Don't think so? Prove it. There has been nothing to date that supports your assertion. Again, this may make you HUNGRIER, but it won't impact upon fat loss if you don't mind feeling like garbage - and maintain the same deficit.
Homeopathic HCG with Vitamin B12 can be a solution. The diet drops are absolutely safe from side effects.
I thought this whole HCG diet thing was pretty well debunked? The whole protocol also has a very restricted diet
Restricted isn't even the word -- the protocol calls for 500 calories/day.
As I said - that + saline injections will make you lose weight too. In fact you can inject whatever the hell you want and lose weight on that protocol.
Still don't agree with you, and no my body doesn't agree with you. I'll leave it at that.
LOL - no worries. Everyone is entitled to freedom of religious belief. This is yours.
yeah thats like 1/4 of one of my shakes not even maybe lol wow thats a hard diet huh
