ok ladies and gent,

sorry i cant fig how to put up a freaking poll here....so here it goes.

what p/c/f ratio's work for u or u use when cutting?

i m mainly concered about the split b/w carb and fats. say u keep P constant at 40%, how do ppl split the C and F.

oh man, this ratio and p/c/f abbreviations reminds me, i gotta finish my physics hw :pissed:

forget about ratios. Get 1 to 1.5 g. of prot., min. .5g fat per lb of lbm and get the rest from a mix of carbs, prot. and fats, what ever suits you best.

low carbs are the best by far for me.....at 228 I'm eating about 250grams a day and losing 1.5 lbs a week

I do not go by ratio's either... It is silly to base what your body needs on how many calories you are eating. Just because you are eating less does not mean you need less protein or fats...

So:
1-1.5g protein/pound
At least 0.3g fat/pound with 6-10g fish oils (minimum...) 0.4 is a better minimum.
Fill in the rest with either carbs or fats depending on your preferences.

That's for lean body mass though, right? I think that's what you've said in the past.

ok so got the ratios for p and f...p= 1-1.5/lb and f = .4/lb ... wat about c? i just got confused when you guys say fill in the rest...

thank you for ur replies.

Nothing is fixed... You can have 0.6g fat/pound... you can have 1g fat/pound... you can have 100g carbs or you can have 500g carb... You just work it out so you have what your body needs (that is - once you get your protein down then you just fill in your calorie needs with fat or carbs - which ever you prefer)...
